David should have remembered the episode where Sara revealed she once went to book a flight to Spain but instead ended up booking a flight to South America. She has a history of not being very careful about such things.
I flew to visit an old friend. I also booked ahead a car rental to pick up at the airport. When I arrived and went to the rental office I discovered I had rented for the day before. It was a long weekend and no one had any cars to rent. With much embarrassment I phoned my friend about the predicament and he offered to come and get me. It was a two hour drive each way for him! Ouch!! 😮
That's different. Only one uses the brain's language center in your example. Anybody can do stuff while the TV is on. Reading a book and simultaneously listening to a different book takes a lot of training if it's even possible at all.
@ Okay, sure, get that, but I find if I pay too much attention to the comedians and their jokes, I fail at the games so there is some overlap in brain usage. Whatever, I find just sitting watching/listening to You Tube or TV shows just too boring.
@@davideberhardt6150 I read you comment whilst watching this video and I didn't miss a word. Your inability to accomplish a task doesn't mean others also struggle with this same difficulty.
@@htmc2022 I listen to podcasts and play video games all the time, and listening to the podcast can enhance my ability to reach a "flow state" when gaming where it's mostly my brain on full automatic - I can play the game at a competitive level even when I'm mostly paying attention to the audio.
@@AndruJorj What you're talking about isn't the same as simultaneously reading and listening to two tedious info dumps with the hope of retaining information. And even if it's two enjoyable things, the scale matters. A comment is one thing, but if you were reading, say, a comedy novel and listening to the show at the same time, I guarantee you wouldn't be fully appreciating either. A lot of it would go over your head. And who just listens to WILTY? The gestures and expressions are just as important. Even if you could do it, why would you, unless there actually is some kind of deadline? Just slow down and actually savour things. I don't understand this generation and the need for constant stimulation. It's not something to be proud of.
They're all on fire in this one and Sarah is adorable.

That episode was made many years later than this one.

@@Hypercube1729no it wasn't. The costa Rica one had been made the previous year.
What a kind way to put the fact that she is dumb. 🤣
Pascoe bringing some heat in this one.
I had to check and Chaka Khan "I feel for you" was number 1 on the British charts November 1984
Rylan looks like a cartoonish character from the tv series Glamour😂
He looks like a token idiot-which he is,poor creature.
I knew Sara's furniture story was true because she's the one who got on a plane to Costa Rica thinking she was going to Spain.
9:08 You weren’t there Paul!
Lovely sarah pascoe...no pretensions
I’d love to see her as a semi-regular.
Thank you for uploading this!!!!
Mugged by a fox, it was so true. I believed it. How did they miss that
Love Rylan ❤️
You can do 2 things at once - I listen to/watch WILTY while playing whatever Puzzle/Sort Game I’m into at the time on my Cell phone - simultaneously.

Rylan looks very fake. Is that just how he looks or is that a ton of plastic surgery?
Sara is really funny... Which makes her insanely hot to me.❤😅
