Thank you so much for sharing, Todd, this is my go-to manual for everything related to Buchla. Can't wait for more episodes so I can immediately start patching when my 266T arrives in the near future.
The output of the noise is so low, that is a very narrow range of random, even when using the 257t. Bummer...is this how it is in the 4U Buchla 266 as well?
In the 4U noise comes out as audio in tinijax so that move was not available nor intended. I was just demonstrating that it is now possible in the eurorack format. There seem to be plenty of wide range random options among QRV, SRV and S/H
@@vgermuse ah yes. I never had a Buchla and keep forgetting that audio outputs are not bananas...coming from the eurorack world this seems like a rather odd decision, but it is what it is. You're right about QRV and SRV...I guess I'll just use some other noise/S&H source from some other module. Thanks for the answer and thank you for these brilliant videos!
@@vgermuse the input attenuator to the 258t is at 1 o clock, so (as someone from Modwiggler mentioned) that would be why the range of random on the pitch, is so narrow.
Finally got mine yesterday Todd. Looking forward to adventures with the 281t. Take care. Colin
Have fun Colin🤩‼️

Hey Robert! Can’t to hear what you do in your growing Buchla paradigm! About to watch your recent Studio Tour video. Best wishes, Todd
Insightful as ever. Thanks for sharing your wisdom and mastery.
