Oh so creative as always, Christine. I bet that you could pick up a stick in the garden and come up with something beautiful with it! I’ll give this a go since I’m fascinated with Yorkshire button. Great instructions and way to ♻️ upcycle an innocent looking plastic🥰. Thank you. 🌷tess
Thanks Tess - having a giggle at the stitch comment. I do love driftwood 😂Have fun with these - they are a little bit addictive once you start trying different fibres. Cheers, Christine
Thanks so much Marnel - really happy to have inspired you to try these- they make wonderful slow stitching embellishments but could also work as part of the beautiful journals you make. Cheers, Christine
They are so cool I’m sure I used to make these with my nanna 25 years ago or more and I had a metal wheel looking thing I must see if I can find it now that I’ve started stitching again. Love your Chanel X
What wonderful memories - I hope you have luck on finding your old template - such lovely links with memories. And thank you for your kind comment. Cheers, Christine 💙🧵🪡

How would you sew this button onto a knitted sweater? The back is not closed.
You could add a piece of wool felt to get back and stitch it on that way. Or shape it over a shank button of the right size. Cheers, Christine
