Hi Gina, Many thanks for a clear tutorial, I am left handed and wondered how I would get on, no problem. Just made my first of many "Yorkshire Buttons" with your kit and yes my thread was wrapped on the tight side but I have learned so much.
I just discovered your video by accident and loved both your Dorset and Yorkshire buttons. They are beautiful, thank you for sharing and very easy to follow you :)
Such a lovely button, thank you. Tip: I have a cheap pillow which I bought to use as stuffing and it is, of course, washable. I use it for numerous projects such as pin cushions - another love of mine. Buttons are my new project thanks to you.
Got my kit this afternoon. Sat and watched your video to get me started then was chilled in my summerhouse with a cup of tea totally chilled sewing away. So relaxing and I’m pleased with result xxx tried to add picture but not sure how too
@@GinaBSilkworks thank you Gina I’m looking at your other kits to have a go at xx have made 3 buttons today to go on my craft yourself silly mixed media quilt thought they would look good on there. See you spotted I was same person lol Dee doughnuts is my nickname But Darleen is my proper name xx
I love your buttons and passementerie Gina B! Gonna be ordering some silks and button looms and mini tape loom from you for fly fringe. Been following you here and on Facebook for a couple of years now in the USA. Can’t wait to place my first order this week! Great tutorials. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for the clear video tutorial! My kit arrived yesterday and I made two Yorkshire buttons last night. I wrapped the loom too tightly but found that if I removed the loops in the order I wrapped them the button will come off easily. Love finding something to do with all of the fiber I have collected over the past 50 years! haha!
That looks amazing! I'm so enjoying these videos. I've decided to add a bunch of things to my Christmas wish list from your site. This way I never need to know what shipping costs are!
For a neater centre. By going every other, the thread crosses the centre of the loom instead of off to the side a bit. Also, its how I learnt 🙂 Whatever is most comfortable for the maker is best though!
Absolutely the cutest thing to make.
😲 wow! You made that look so easy!!! Thank you !

Oh that's lovely to hear. The tightness is the hardest to control, but once you get a feel for it, you'll be fine. x
I am so glad I watched this video as it's shown me just where I was going wrong with my Yorkshire button, thank you Gina.
You're welcome!

How come you skip a spoke when you are loading the loom? I was taught to go in every spoke. :)
