If your finding nuggets that small, a foot deep in the earth, that’s a damm good detector you are using. Those pieces are really tipical of what we are finding in Arizona, and Nevada. At least for me anyways. Good video bro. Mark H Las Vegas.
Fantastic video, lovely to see you finding some pretties and a awesome sunbaker. Also wonderful to see some shots of the wildlife and camp life. Hofefully more to come :)
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Hey question for you. How or why did you decide on the 17 x 13 vs any other Evolution coils. Also since this footage is a couple years old, do you still use that coil and do you like it a lot better than other coils you used before it? Thanks
Hi. Thanks for watching. Yes I def still use this coil, it is great, I mainly choose it because it can cover a bit more ground than a round coil or a smaller elliptical, and also with the elipse it can be poked in under bushes, trees and shrubs more easily than a round coil. I also use the much lighter, 17 x 11 advantage, nuggetfinder. Its a great coil for patch hunting, very light compared to the evolution, but doesnt punch quite as deep.
@@ozzygoldadventures Great. Thanks Garry for the feedback. My wife currently goes between a coiltek gold stalker 13 x 9 and the Minelab Commander mono but I want to make sure she has the maximum sensitivity and does not walk over any gold. So far she has the prize piece between the two of us and I don't mind that one bit
@@ozzygoldadventures Thank you! I ment an average time of your trips to the desert)) I'm qurious because I'm finally ready to visit the Downunder as soon as the lockdown is over. ( it was my dream for 4 years) It's really interesting to know how long is it "comfortable" to stay in the desert. And of course the period of time in which you found this beautiful pile of nuggets :)) Sorry for mistakes if any, I'm not a native speaker
@@viktorfetisov4154 ah cool, sorry i misunderstood. I generally go for about 8 weeks, but there is a lot of equipment needed, plus research, its def not as easy as it look in a 20 min clip hehe. Regarding staying in the desert, generally 2 weeks woild be maximum before water reserves are low, then its back to the closest town to restock on whatever is needed.
Camped on a large patch, the stuff of dreams, and a hefty sunbaker bonus! Like your relaxing presentation style
Cheers Warwick. Thanks for watching mate, glad you enjoyed it, yes I agree, getting to camp on a patch is the best and it doesnt happen too often :)
And that’s a huge coil, Good for flat land surfaces, nice

Part of the enjoyment of watching metal detecting is hearing the signal on the video. Disappointing on this video on most of this video.
