Said this before but you are my favorite guitarist on youtube. I'm 56 and been playing since I was a teen and played professionally for 10 years. I haven't even watched this video yet but how pumped was I to see you doing an srv tone on the spark which I was thinking of getting. Woohooo!!
7:44 nailed it! Those who says that ain't it, are probably watching it with the sound off. Yeah it's a Korean Squier through a toy amp, but imagine how wide Stevie would have smiled at you!!!
@@papalytic7767 Thank you so much. I’ve found them !. Looking forward to your next presets. I’ve already added your SRV and FUNK preset to my Spark app 🙏🏾🎸.
Ive done a heap of metal presets already. Dream theater, devin Townsend, alexi laiho, coheed and cambria, dimebag, etc. If you ho on the tonecloud and search my name in the tags Antoniopapadimitriou all my presets should show up
This is awesome thank you. If i want to create a new tone do i have to edit an existing tone or can you simply start from scratch? Can you do a john mayer tone? Youve just got yourself a new subscriber 🤟
Thanks mate. And yep, you always need to start with an existing preset. When youve finished tweaking and changing pedals and amps the key is to 'save as new' in the options. And I'll do a more melodic mayer tone eventually
That's the sauce!! This is stupid good. SRV got that immediately recognizable time and ya nailed it. I've struggled with reaching a specific type of tone. It's the very late 70s lead type tone used a ton in 80s TV show themes like Joey Scarbury's "Believe It or Not" or Juice Newton's "Love's Been a Little Bit Hard on Me". I know there's a good amount of some chorus, maybe some doubling for harmony but I'm fumbling around in the dark on this one. Any thoughts?
I'll look into it. Are you a member of the spark amp owners club on fb? If not it might pay to join up as Sometimes i post extra content and tone shares on there
Uh, cool ass tone, SRV it is not though, besides not using a common SRV pickup selection till about 10-11 minutes into a 13 minute video, it’s just a cool strat tone, fairly basic but good tone, SRV is ultra strat tone, very cool strat patch for sure, but Stevie it just isn’t bud, no offense.

Thanks man. Appreciate that. You were close with the squier too, japanese.
I'm mostly a metal guy but I love SRV!
Another great video!! Thank You!! 🙏🏻
This was great mate, thanks! I don't get why Positive Grid didn't go the way of Kemper, fractal and Headrush, by allowing us to download IRs.
I think you can in bias amp. I suspect that they will eventually develop a more powerful, giggable spark.
Hello, where can I find your previous video’s on UA-cam. For example the one about the Funk preset ?
Just go directly to my channel by pressing my profile picture then select videos and scroll down for a bit

Love the video. When ever you can will you do a tone of heavy metal banks like ice nine kills or
Spiritbox

If you can give me a specific song i can work on it for you
@@papalytic7767 this is the main one. It's got a tubey-diesel feel to me 💪. Solo is at 2:07.

@@papalytic7767 I'm new but definitely. The group is really inspiring to see.
Very important to make angry faces to improve the sound quality.

Its a $300 amp mate. Sounds like your expectations were too high.
Nothing like SRV.
Another one hey. Its a $300 practice amp.
sounds like total crap
@rygeldudie two things. Its a $300 practice amp and I'm not SRV. Perhaps your expectations are too high.
