    Its brilliant that how he executed the idea that how much we human keep on worrying over tiny little things that don't even matter at all. But we keep on falling into the trap of overthinking, making our lifes miserable.

    And the next morning I went to visit him for he had not yet risen. He lay very still and quiet. All the color had fled from his face and he looked like a doll or something carved from bone.
    For years, I would think of him on mornings when, alone, I collected birds felled by my gun, wishing he too had had the chance to come with me to hunt.

    Had me really interested, but all of a sudden it stops. No ending !
    "Huh, what ? What do you mean I have to quit this juicy steak ? I aint done yet !"

      Unfortunately, that's all Hemingway wrote... An open ending is one of the characteristics of a short story.

      No, that is the alteration of the silver grains that make up the photograph of Hemingway`s coat. The silver emulsion was not washed properly after fixing and so it degraded as a result of an oxidating reaction.
