Good review. I have the ev200d and really like them. I do notice the edges blur a bit though, but all in all I think they are hard to beat for the price.
I have EV200D, best for fixed wing / long range, because of dual diversity = 4 antennas / works in every direction ! with the best DVR format = H264 ! Now I`m waiting for a good price for EV300D !!! Best regards from Germany...
Thanks for the latency testing on these because I was considering purchasing them. Do you think firmware could fix this latency issue or is it a hardware limitation? I’ve switched mostly to my Viper goggles so I can wear my glasses.
I don't think it's hardware related because the prototypes in the early reviews didn't have this problem. I was told a firmware update will correct the latency but we will have to wait and see if this is true or not.
@@AlbertKimTV why then they won’t take the firmware from the prototype and then they won’t give us? if everything was fine there !!! complete nonsense .. I do not believe since there are no videos about the delay from the prototypes, no one has done it and there is no evidence, only in words !!
@@sergeimc i have a production version running at < than 45ms latency. again, am i lucky? i don't know. Eachine have made it clear however that the support for these will be ongoing with the ability to provide firmware releases in an efficient manner. THAT process in the past was completely broken.
... I got schooled by Kabab that the dynamic contrast on lcos didn't match up to the oled - primarily in lower light conditions. Annoyingly the friendly bastard is right but it's really minute practically speaking. Top review again Albert thx :-)

@@rogueFactor I'm fairly sure the latency issue is due to some firmware bug introduced right before they went to production. I saw that the four other reviewers who go a pre-production sample did not mention anything about latency. Unless they changed the hardware at the last minute, I think a firmware update will correct this problem. Eachine did tell me they will fix the firmware after they get back to work but because of the virus in China, getting back to work has been delayed.

Are you able to update with the latest firmware released 25th Feb 2020, Eachine has stated that they have fixed the PAL and NTSC to have the same latency has the HDO. It would be good if you can confirm it.
It depends on when the Eachine workers get back to the factory. I think most of China is shut down right now with the pandemic over there. Maybe March sometime?

Thanks to your review, I purchased 1 pair. Is it just me or after the last Fw update, the picture ( at least on the right Screen, shifted to thr right ? Now I have to move the Ipd knob all the way to the left ???
I wouldn't know since I gave these away about 3 years ago and haven't applied any of the latest firmware updates. Perhaps you should contact Skyzone support? I think they made these for Eachine.
@@AlbertKimTV eachine is hiding all the warranty information the best they can, but if the goggles stop working and you ask for help like i did after 10 days use, then they got some paper they show you with a limit of 5 days warranty. This is really bad service and you reviewers should mention this in the video
I was looking forward to u doing this review but this was a total let down u barely did anything good in this review..no range test no latency test just pointing and talking about it everyone else did it great but urs I'd say was the worst. Was a let down...I want to buy these goggles but I just dont no any more I understand ur Asian so u prolly need a smaller field of view but for me I'm Italian and have no issues with my eyes and and see the 42degree field of view with no issues and I prefer a bigger field of view but damnn bro I'm speechless on this review didnt make up my mind
I'm not making this review to sell it... you can watch other channels for that. I can only give you my opinion based on my experience. Sorry it doesn't match with yours. Also, I did do my own kind of latency test and I gave you the numbers in the video. If it wasn't technical enough for you sorry about that. It's the best I can do with the equipment I have.
@Race Quad FPV You really should watch the video. The review was excellent and he did do a latency test. We don't need another used car salesman to just say positive things just to get us to buy the products. You should go watch one of those other bigger channels for that. They are the best used cars salesmen on the planet.

Paul please get flight simulator and practice on PC before you hurt someone. Don't fly over cars or people!!! It takes time to get half decent but reward is huge. Start with micros. Welcome to FPV but please please don't rush it....
