I had the problem that it was impossible for my left lens to focus. I opened the goggles and fixed it, here is how: Btw... Warrenty is probably gone after this. For the people who have the same problem.... You can open the goggles and take out the lens. Its secured in its bajonet slots with 2 brass bushes and 2 little screws. Take them out, pull the lens out. The lens stack consists of 3 lenses in 1 package, hold together with a threaded ring on top, and a plastic spacer in between the top lens and the package of the two other lenses. Screw the ring out, take the lenses out carefully with gloves. The problem is most likely in the lower 2 lenses (closest to your eye). Its super easy to put these lenses together so that they are tilted. This is what went wrong during production in the factory. Assemble them in such a way that they fit nicely into eachother, they should have almost no radial play. Keep it all really clean and if needed whipe with isopropanol. Assemble it all back and its done. Hopefully this helps other people. The most scary part for me is opening the goggles without breaking the casing. Good luck
I had the Sky 04X for months unopened in new condition, then noticed the V2 version is out now with upgraded DVR to 60FPS! Thankfully I was able to return the origionals and now have the Sky 04X V2. Yes, it's worth it as they are also with latest firmware that works great.
I love my Skyzone 03O's. The fit and quality is great. I have used them daily for 11 months now with not a single failure. I find the picture a lot brighter and more immersive then the Fat Sharks.
I have the EV300o and find that switching from diversity to mix solves the problem of the glitch lines. Love the image and these googles have been great for me :)
I always thought Eachine was just a Banggood tag name, they regularly use that name for any manufacturer without brand presence so it can be sold with something on the badge. Eachine can then come from any unknown source. Great review too Joshua. Cheers.
The Sky02's were already pretty nice, Skyzone certainly know what they're doing. I must say for something with as long a "service life" as goggles I wouldn't necessarily go with a company like Eachine. Personally I'm gonna shoot for used Aomway v1's, I really like the simplicity and the weight/ form factor etc. plus they gave a great picture for me and are not too expensive which is my main decision factor. ;) Anyway, thanks a lot for your relentless work
since ive gone digital i havent had to bother buying any new analog crap so after awhile it will be cheaper for digital when analog vtxs burn up and new shit analog goggles come out
@@dominicklittle9828 If you just stick with the same shitty goggles, it's pretty damn cheap, also you can burn 20+ vtxs before you equal the price of dji goggles.
It will go down. In five years we will have 50$ digital box goggles and cheap Chinesee digital VTXs. There's no reason why this shouldn't happen - it's a new technology right now, but competition will drive prices down just like it happened with analog FPV
How well does the fan work? My face runs warm and I’m always having problems with fog. I hear the Orca fan is not very affective, which is a deal breaker for me.
The fan seems strong however this time of year the temperature outside does not cause a lot of condensation so it's not the best test. I do get fog on my Fat Shark sometimes (the fan is broken and I haven't replaced it) so I would say the fan is adequate but I couldn't say whether it was particularly strong. It does have a setting you can turn the fan up and down.
My biggest concern about Eachine is customer support / service. I owned the ev200d goggles and was very pleased with them. But I saw plenty of others who had issues and couldn't get them resolved with Eachine. I love my Fatshark HDO2's but I'd seriously be looking at dji if I were in the market for goggles today. Happy flying. 🤓
you're absolutely right! I just learned the hard way. I've had the ev300o goggles for just three weeks now. I loveED them. two days ago, the left OLED screen burned out. Banggood is refusing to help. Reaching out to Eachine directly. hopefullly they can help.
Having astigmatisms I feel left apart from all these companies that don’t make anymore diopter lens slots. I feel I’ll stick with HDO 1 for a long time with analog quads...
I own both hdo2's and Skyzone 03O's and the thing you said about "screen door" effect baffles me. Both goggles are higher resolution than analog video is passing along. I find that the image actually looks more crisp in the skyzones because the size of the screen (pixels per inch) better matches the actual video quality of analog. HDO2's on the other hand only make a bunch of flaws and lack of clarity in analog signal much more apparent imo.
I still use ev800d with the stock antennas and I would feel uncomfortable with the amount of breakup u get flying around your yard with ev300o. If i paid 420 bucks more for the goggles I would be damn dissatisfied. I know clarity is better but price difference is just way too high.
Watching a comparison of analog video must be what it was like back at the dawn of automobiles, listening to guys argue about which was the breed of horse to buy for dependable transportation.
@@daxdadog Always good to know and respect the past. Just as horses once got people from A to B, analog video was what made this whole beautiful hobby of ours even possible. Yes, digital is no doubt the future, but analog still has its place. Also for many new people starting into this hobby, it's all they can (or are willing to) afford - we'd be a smaller community if it wasn't for analog. :)
Thanks for the review Joshua, yeah right after I bought my hdos, then hdo2 then orca dji, crazy but expected,I might wait to se how much better the hdos will be with sharkbyte, are go dji. Stay safe
Love your videos Joshua. Literally my Fpv quad #1 source for info. I have a question. I recently purchased the sky04l v2 and I keep seeing people complain about the updates to the module firmware. Some say don’t update others say go for it. I can’t find any information on this and I updated mine as soon as I got them before I actually started looking. I don’t know if I’m getting the best performance or if my firmware is one of the bad ones. I’m fairly new to the hobby and I come from the ev800d goggles. Performance seems about the same. Do you know about any resources to tell what module version I may have and what firmware will work best on it? Is there anything like that? Thank you again for everything you do!
I was waiting for this review! I've bought them on sale while still almost no one reviewed them yet and I had the feeling I did a great purchase but I wanted some confirmation from somebody with more experience. Ahh, can relax now :D
I really wanted this review, and bought them as well. I do like them, but may have gone with the Skyzone version had I known. The receiver is very good on range, but the white flashing is annoying. I think early Rapidfire modules had the same problem before a firmware update. Fingers crossed that Eachine/Skyzone will come out with a firmware update for the module.
@@DeltaInsanity the solution they have come out with is to fall back to a simply switched diversity mode rather than really fixing the processing problem. Rapidfire processes the output from both receivers giving them their excellent range.
I'm getting closer to getting dji now that they have an external bay that doesn't void warranty. And now that I bought a bigger quad that can run vista weight better
Be patient my friend, 2nd gen. DJI goggles have got to be very close, and would have been out now if it wasn't for the pandemic. No electronics maker has products have a lifespan this long...without something major slowing a new release down. With winter coming, I'd be very patient, like me, and see what comes out in the Spring and early Summer.
Days of analog are NOT numbered as long as we don't have at least 3 different digital brands to choose from. I won't buy DJI same as a lot of other pilots. And I belive that we would be able to get some digital module in the future and connect it to hdmi port. Screens are really good on those goggles. And I could get sky04x for €375 with 15% off coupon from BG which is the same as EV300o. Skyzone has a bigger FOV which I would like to have and better screens.
These goggles feel a bit too late to the party... should have released this product 1-2 years ago. And another thing. We have these beautiful OLED screens displaying standard def video... Looking forward to these goggles with Shark Byte.
@@alexfeatherstone6676 I never said analog was dead and like you mentioned the hdo2 came out in late 2019..1-2 years ago when these SkyZone goggles should have came out too.
Was about to order the sky03o today and spotted that the 04x could be pre-ordered for roughly the same price in the UK (circa £30 difference with the first time 10% off ;-) ) so obliged in the pre-order. Typically about 12 hours before your affiliate link, sorry. All my smaller craft's will benefit from the analgue. The ability to switch the aspect ratio compared to 03o's as well as the adjustable focus was literally the selling point for myself. Can't wait for Mr Bardwell to bring out a video on the 04x to tell me they're junk XD. Much love Mr Bardwell
LOVE my 300O's. ( its like having HDO's with better resolution and optic controls ) myself i do not personally like the HUGE screen of the HDO2 ( older dude crap vision ) could never get the corners to be 100% clear. i fly with 2 others all the time, both using rapidfire we can go the same places and do the same things. i see no HUGE difference between the modules. the white lines seem to come and go depending on the place we are at and what is around us.
WTF, I bought the Eachine EV300O just to realize, that the module bay is too small for standard modules like TBS Fusion und Rapidfire. @Joshua Bardwell: didn't you notice it when testing?
Boo. I just bought and love the Sky03o...if only I would have known! Either way, I’m new to fpv and after two weeks of trouble shooting my vtx to find it was a ground loop issue, finally having a reliable feed in my first pair of goggles was like a wet dream!
go digital and never worry about any of that analog crap again. i flew analog for four years before dji shit all over it. works perfect every time and way stronger penetration
It is really a great google, i have the EV300d also and now problems, after the software update the latency is around 25-30ms that is ok for me. The EV300o was in the sale for only 325€ i think that price was good for the google if i compare it with a fatshark...........
@@JoshuaBardwell can I purchase your pair of 04x goggles? I need focus adjustment and would fly 1000% better if your diamond hands touched the goggles I put on my peasant face.
Interesting that from the parking garage test video it looks like the rapidmix module is doing sync reconstruction but not frame combination, seems like they would want to sell that feature harder.
Josh, I picked up a pair of Ehang goggles off ebay for around $30! Have you seen or heard about these? If not, how about doing a review on them for ppl on a budget like myself. I think they are supposed to work with the Ehang ghost drone. Anyway, I have a pair and I gotta say at a price of $30, I feel like I stole em'. I have been using a small screen mounted to my Taranis prior to these. Let me know your thoughts. BTW, I appreciate and thank you for your channel. You have answered 2 previous questions from me during livestreams. Gotta say, you are an A1 stand up UA-camr IMHO! Keep it up pal, Jeff!
@Crap is this shit, 5.8 ghz compatible. I should have mentioned that. Grab a pair and let me know what you think. I wish I could bring my QAV250, Mobula7, Trashcan, and LR Explorer w/my Taranis Plus controller to Josh so he can teach me his tuning skills! I bought and built all these Kwads and I'm not even close to having all this work together, so I resort to flying my modded Syma X5 w/ hot glued on micro 5.8vtx w/ Snaptain props modded onto it. Flies like a BIG tiny woop... maybe in another life I'll be able to meet up with you...lol and as usual, thanks for responding to my comments. Let me know what you think of the Ehang's thanks.
Hi Joshua, Keep up the great work! I hope you're in this FPV knowledge game for a long time to come. You are the wind beneath my FPV wings, you know what I'm sayin'? :)
11:25 I know there's IRC PowerPlay, but if goggles actually had a build-in microphone and would let you record ambient audio along with the DVR, that would be a killer feature imho. :)
Problem with buying Eachine is the customer service/support. Fatshark is right here in the U.S. and has fantastic support. You wouldn't catch me buying those goggles for any price.
I have the Fatshark BASE SD from Hobby King Display (Full color LCD LED backlit Kopin CyberDisplay 922,000 pixels binocular display (640 X 480 VGA)) 35° Field of View. Glass lenses. Do you think it is already time to switch to OLED. I dont expect a dramatic change what do you think? Maybe the camera and the signal are quality limiting?
TBS Fusion module does not fit the module bay on the Skyzone O4X or the Eachine 300o. People have been really frustrated about this and have to modify the module bay or the module to get it to fit. Here is a link with pictures and a discussion at the IntoFPV forum: intofpv.com/t-skyzone-04x-goggles?page=2
I'm surprised you didn't make more of deal that this is a skyzone that finally natively supports a 3rd party module with no mods (except a cover). Well done skyzone!
I know this video is a bit older but I am past my tinyhawk 3 and tinyhawk 2 freestyle with the RTF kit goggles and controller, upgraded my transmitter, next is goggles. Haven’t seen any 2022 goggle buyers guides anywhere. Are these still a good option for analog with option for HDzero or other HDMI input? Want the flexibility to upgrade to an HD system in the future with my next 5 inch build or PNP prebuilt. Content I’ve seen has been nothing but helpful Mr.FPVKnowitall, much appreciated and definitely will be using the links in your videos for my next purchase even if it’s only a few new props
As someone who purchased FatShark HDO2s recently as a replacement for my Aomway Commander V1, I have to say aside from the screens and the diopter adjustments (both of which are admittedly awesome) the FatSharks feel like a backward step even compared to my old goggles. Takes 2-3S batteries but only has warning at 7.0V which isn't adjustable? Seriously? You can't even use the 18650 case they supply with that warning voltage, unless you like constantly recharging. Also the DVR and menu interface are noticebly crappier than even my Aomways, let alone the Skyzone interface that seems light years ahead. To my disappointment it seems people have been whinging about the lack of these features for years and pretty much nothing has come of any of it, except the HDO2s have a power button that doesn't even work as a power button out of the box. And now Red Cat is buying Fatshark, that much touted service network looks a bit shaky, particularly if you can only reasonably buy through Banggood (unless of course you like paying 20 - 30% more for a locally delivered product) and you are then asking for local service.
Great video on the ev300o. I got a pair but my dvr looks nothing like yours. It might have to do with the foxeer arrow micro pro camera. What camera did you use for dvr recording?
Hi Joshua! I love your videos! You have helped me out so much with info as I am trying to get into FPV flying . I was wondering have you tried to mount a sharkbyte to the O4x ? I havent seen any videos on how this works and if it will fit onto the O4xs. It may be a dumb question but I am a noobie when it comes to quads. Thanks again!
The fatshark v6attitude is the best one to have . Its so great and better than the rest . It has a geen plastic not on the skyzones . But fo $500 you could get 10 spark blaster ev800d blue plastic fpv goggles . The sparking blast screen nuisance effect is equal or louder .
I don't care what ppl say. the EV300 was AMAZING compared to any other goggle in it's price range, and beat most that were more expensive. Eachine making the 300O? yes plz. The latency issue on the 300ev was fixed.
The "fixed" firmware had visual glitches for some people that were still being complained about on the Eachine FB group when the last update was posted. If it was fixed for you, good. But it wasn't fixed for everybody. And if you had paid that much for a set of goggles that you couldn't use, you'd be pretty mad.
@@JoshuaBardwell far fewer issues than dji had for its first year 🤷🏿♀️ those blackouts still happen. I'd be more mad if I dropped a grand and lost a drone than a 270$ shipped pair of goggles that work nearly as well as rapid fire hdo2s.
Got the Sky04X and quite disappointed with the optics. Too much gets cut in the corners (vignetting) and either the center is in focus or the corners (focus curvature).
Hi Josh, both options seem good value to me it's dependant on your use in my opinion, if your flying long range a decent antenna is more important than rapid fire as far as I can tell. If your flying kiss Dji is probably not the goggle for you and I'm guessing it's only a matter of time before digital modules become a thing. Personally I'm reasonably happy with analogue especially in terms of value for money. The dji system is interesting but I wouldn't use the control link over my crossfire so I'm more likely to upgrade to a digital module once these become available and therefore an interim quantity goggle like these are an interesting prospect. I currently use Sky02's and besides their frustrating menu I've loved them since purchase and they've never let me down!

You’re going to hell for this. My trusty eachines ev100 got busted and i was looking for replacement for them. At pne moment i have contemplated dji, but since they are practically nonexistent in Europe i began looking for analog upgrade... your videos was great help and when sale one sky03o appeared on banggood i was on the verge since there was also sky04x for approximately 100bucks more... long story short, after three days in my shopping cart i ordered the 04x... :)
another great review. Are the DJI's HD's in analog mode not on par with the HD2's or Orqa? I though DJI googles were on par in term's of price? If there on par you kind of kill two birds with one stone if one want's up upgrade later to HD? Anyway that was the direction I was thinking of going in.
I absolutely HATE HATE HATE the fact that I'm coming into this hobby at this moment in time. Currently I'm using the EMAX box goggles that came with the Tinyhawk Freesyle II RTF kit. But I knew going into that kit that I would likely want to upgrade. I already have a Taranis x9 lite radio to replace the radio from the RTF kit. (I didn't realize that it doesn't do D8 mode though, so I've had to order the irange IRX4 lite module. It's currently in shipping from Banggood wish me luck with that!) But now I'm down to the point where I want to upgrade my goggles. It seems like a foregone conclusion that everything will be sliding into Digital in the very near future. So do I invest in an analog option like any of the ones you showcased in this video? Or do I hold out and go completely DJI which is a huge cost output, but seems like an inevitable destination regardless. I'm torn.
Both Eachine and Skyzone 04X are missing the front camera, I use that front camera a lot! Looks like I'll be sticking with my Sky 03Os for a while. Great goggles BTW... OLEDs 1024x768 @ 35 degree FOV. 4:6 only still good enough for me💖
Its a question everyone and their dog would love to know... a smaller, lighter, lower latency digital fpv setup would be a dream come true for all of us. (Not that the current DJI setup is bad by any means) Unfortunately DJI dont seem to share much/any? info on their plans... I guess its to keep the sales rolling in and stop people holding off for the V2.. if there even is one. I so want to buy.. but without even knowing if there is a V2 planned.. I'm in total limbo. Knowing my luck I'll get my V1's through the door on the day they announce a V2 release.. 😆
@@BaldBeard_BlackShirt Get the new DJI foam kit. It works well. I had major problems with the original insert fitting on my face and light leakage. The HTC OG VIVE foam inserts work great in a pinch as well.
Have you got your SharkByte test set yet? When you do, could you please test it with those and sky03o too? I know, chances are slim, but for some sentimental reason I really really want SB to become a thing. Not as good as DJI but solid enough for its own niche and priced well...
After 2 years using fatshark Hdo its time for something new. I just buy the eachine EV300o for 297 euro. Hopefully wil the goggle performance better than the fatshark hdo
You should do a review of the whole Eachine line if possible :) Edit: They've got what seems to be new versions of the 100, 200, and 300 series as you are showing. Then there's the VR009 I have coming from BG. They're supposed to be beginner/mini/budget goggles and they look like a newer model- I see other bulkier pairs donning the "009" code. I'd like to see what you think of the newer pair- I'm sure lots of other beginners might too.
EV800D used to be a decent box goggle option… the Cobra’s are better now. 100’s are the worst $99 goggles you can buy EV200 was a good budget option 3-4 years ago- now are the same price as the EV300 and not worth the price. EV300 has latency bugs for some people. So, the only eachine worth considering are the new 300o’s - and even then… just get the Skyzone’s (or DJI fpv and put an analog module in them)
Nice, but how did you swap the face plate? I have watched a number of reviews of these goggles, reviewers talk about it, but no one shows how to do it... I got mine yesterday and despite my best efforts and research - I have been unable to detach the installed, wide plate... 🥴
@@maciejwilczynski407 yeah - I've figured it finally out too - my initial mistake was that I tried to pry the original face plate starting from the top - and it turns out to be where it fits the tightest. Later on I tried from underneath and it came off super easy... Another challenge this goggle gave me was installing TBS Fusion module - the module bays are way too small to fit it - I had to enlarge it using Dremmel and also grind the edges of the printed boards of the module itself to the point I was afraid I might have damaged some tracks on it... Luckily everything works, but I hate how incompatible those parts are... Even the fitments of the original Rapidmix module is really flimsy - it's so easy to pull it out/bend the pins when you accidentally touch the antennas... I finally secured the module/cover using thermal glue.
Before anyone purchases these Sky04X be warned!!! there are 2 reviews I found that mention a few things I have noticed front he pictures as I don't have the 04x yet and I'm Not gonna get them. I have the Sky 03O now and wanted a second pair. I thought that the case looked bit bulky and not to aesthetically pleasing, unfinished looking. I noticed they are wider and I might not "fit into them" as I do on my SKY 03Os, Also I figured that scroll wheel will be nothing but problems ( I had a Futaba radio that used wheel and sure enough I had problems) NO WHEELS PLEASE! The buttons are not even labeled! No front camera, I use it instead of taking off my goggles it's NOT a gimmick IMHO, And no RGB lighting on the outside.... YES I liked that as well, why not doesn't have anything to do with flying but sure looks awesome💖 The SKY 04X has no bling and looks horrible/too wide and bulky. ALL of my concerns where acknowledged by a reviewer who also commented on the Rx reception which I can't tell by lookin @ pictures; @t Buy with caution! If one has SKY03O like me then stick with them. Maybe grab a second pair before they sell out again.
Help me please. I can’t focus at all, the picture doubles and does not add up. I have been suffering for 2 days already, I don’t turn the twists at all.
good morning sir thank you for your wonderful reviews I am writing to you from Italy and I wanted to know if the eachine 300o and the skyzone 04 are the same glasses?
When I bought my Sky03O goggles Bangood was selling them for $420. I got them on sale for $387. Now the Sky03O are on Bangood for $499. The same price as the Sky04X goggles. I don't know what they're thinking with these silly prices.
Why did he ( you ) say that he would not understand why someone choose to use a powerbank as main power supply ? I'm new to goggles, and I was about to do this choice with my fresh ev300o: the powerbank in the pocket, it's safe and you don't have extra weight on the head. I don't get it. Is more voltage a plus for the performances?
Joshua, which FPV cameras did you test EV300o with? I have worse than expected reception quality and supposedly there are compatibility issues with rapidmix receiver and some cameras.
Wonder how far out we are to having a digital VRX that will fit in a module bay...? I'm sure Shark Byte could adapt to these..? I really like the adjustable focus as opposed to diopters for that fine adjustability. Maybe the next version of DJI's goggle will have adjustable focus.. Really like this review and looking to pull the trigger on the 04X goggles. Coming from HD3s and wondering if the 04X would be the right upgrade at this time.
So her i am starting the whole hobby with a RTF Tinyhawk 2 Kit.. Taking a nice trip to Eachin Ev800D and a Radiomaster TX16s and now im thinking what do those 300$ googles better than the EV800D. I do too and I don't know about the eachines or skyzones but I have the HDO2 and when I switched from the HD3, and having all the focus adjustment built in, it was like I had been flying blind for years. I highly suggest the HDO2 for anyone that uses glasses.

If ev300o is 38" and you can see the whole screen then sky04x can be something really good ! How do you feel about the optics Joshua ? Compared to sky03o ?
I'll take either off your hands if you don't want the clutter. Lol but would rather have your custom purple hdo2's. The olny reason I would buy dji is the vtx's they appear to never fail unless you go swimming and that doesn't even kill them all from what I hear. Have you had one fail?
If the dvr work it's better than my hdo fatshark. I had a new set of fatshark for a few months and sold them because I paid alot of money for a set of goggles with the world's worst DVR. I only use dji and everything works and after a year it's all steel working and I have never had any failure.
I had the problem that it was impossible for my left lens to focus. I opened the goggles and fixed it, here is how:
Btw...
Good luck

Like CRT AND LCD?
It also wont go away because it has a consistent latency, which is very important for racing at a high level.
Still rocking my ev800d. I've tried a bunch of other goggles and I still like these the best.
@@ronc8967 so sorry to hear that 😔
@@jlarson42 Thanks. Someone from Eachine/Skyzone saw my comment and reached out to me to get it sorted out. I still don't recommend Banggood
@@ronc8967 good news. Yep until Eachine steps up their support I'm not buying. It's a shame they have some nice kits.
Thanks for ya videos man, I need to get back on the grind of fpv
Having astigmatisms I feel left apart from all these companies that don’t make anymore diopter lens slots.
I feel I’ll stick with HDO 1 for a long time with analog quads...
I'm 22 and i love that the have +6. I need +6.25 and this is just great♥️
JB can read my mind! Exactly what I was pondering... I’m gonna learn something today
Those goggles have some of the best reception on the market. They're just fat
2020, Steele flies DJI and Eachine makes the best analog goggle. 😳
steele just tried dji and said he will only fly dji for comercial things and analog for rippin
Very excited for the sky 04x
What kind of antennas did you use on the Eachine goggle?
reminds me how sick I am of analog, they're all the same, we need more digital HD options
I don't agree with you that all analog goggles are the same, but I 100% agree with you that it would be great to have more digital HD options!
Waiting for them to record dvr at 900x720 or something
Guys, how do you swap the fac plate on these?
@@jet4fun54 did they come out with software updates to fix the issues you were having?
@@DeltaInsanity the solution they have come out with is to fall back to a simply switched diversity mode rather than really fixing the processing problem. Rapidfire processes the output from both receivers giving them their excellent range.
Need a link to that T-shirt!
@@KOrnhOliO1 no they won't. They're still a new product and spent millions on development with no need to release new goggles.
The hdo2 only came out late 2019, analog isn't dead just because of dji existing, most fliers can't dump 800dollars on dji setups
( its like having HDO's with better resolution and optic controls )
myself i do not personally like the HUGE screen of the HDO2 ( older dude crap vision ) could never get the corners to be 100% clear.
i fly with 2 others all the time, both using rapidfire we can go the same places and do the same things. i see no HUGE difference between the modules.
the white lines seem to come and go depending on the place we are at and what is around us.
Which software version is your 300O?
@@madladdan whatever came on them stock..i never had any issues with them so i never wanted to possibly create one, so i never updated.
I enjoy my EV300o so much. Nice review as usual.
Thank you for being a subscriber.
Hey Jeffrey, just been looking at these goggles, damn nice find! But are these 5.8hz goggles? Compatible with a regular 5.8hz vtx?
You mean like Orqa does? :D
@@wingsounds13 Never had any Orqa goggles yet, but if they have this feature, kudos to them! :)
@@GhostBranchFPV Okay, so they don't have a mic built in, but they do have a mic input. They can record both VTX audio and local audio.

Problem with buying Eachine is the customer service/support. Fatshark is right here in the U.S. and has fantastic support. You wouldn't catch me buying those goggles for any price.
I'm also a Eachine fan.
2 yrs later analog still going!!!!
Wow hoo I got mine yesterday. No I order them yesterday wow thank u for this review.
i have the Ev300d and i'm happy with it.. the only problem is that i can't record dvr and idk why lol
I think it only takes a 32GB SD card, any bigger and it won't work.
I'm surprised you didn't make more of deal that this is a skyzone that finally natively supports a 3rd party module with no mods (except a cover). Well done skyzone!
I think I made a pretty big deal about it in the conclusion. Basically said we wanted this forever thank you!
Where can I get that shirt! Looks so sick
Yes please tell us. I need it.
yea
Yeah! I’d totally buy it!
It's a peckerwood fpv shirt from Supr Tech. Idk if you can get it anymore or not.
O4X on the way, thanks for your thoughts.
Great video Jb
Great video on the ev300o. I got a pair but my dvr looks nothing like yours. It might have to do with the foxeer arrow micro pro camera. What camera did you use for dvr recording?
got the 04l for $360 they work great no issues
Why would I want to buy HDO2? DJI FPV goggles is only $70 more and I can see clear digital images.
The fatshark v6attitude is the best one to have . Its so great and better than the rest . It has a geen plastic not on the skyzones . But fo $500 you could get 10 spark blaster ev800d blue plastic fpv goggles . The sparking blast screen nuisance effect is equal or louder .
Thanks great video keep up the good work!!!
I have the EV300D and I love them 😁
I don't care what ppl say. the EV300 was AMAZING compared to any other goggle in it's price range, and beat most that were more expensive.
Ya forgot to mention Flysight. I have a pair of Flysight Falcon V2. And running a Rapidfire receiver, they are perfect .
4:6 only still good enough for me💖
JB….. I would like to see how these all compare with the “quadversity” being used in the Skyzone/Eachine
Have them finally for nearly a week with a month of delay but well worth it to wait.! They Are Rocking !! Thx for fair Review JB.!
Mine arrived today. I have no clue as to how to swap the face plates... Have you done that? If yes - how? I appreciate your help!
Does DJI have anything planned for a future revision of their goggles?
Yeah for me DJI face fit is crap even with shims love my skyzone 03o
Its a question everyone and their dog would love to know... a smaller, lighter, lower latency digital fpv setup would be a dream come true for all of us. (Not that the current DJI setup is bad by any means)
Unfortunately DJI dont seem to share much/any? info on their plans...
Honestly, and you are hearing it here first, and think DJI should come out with a module and then you can pick the goggles that fit you
@@BaldBeard_BlackShirt I like your thinking.. That would make great marketing sense. 👍
@@BaldBeard_BlackShirt Get the new DJI foam kit. It works well. I had major problems with the original insert fitting on my face and light leakage. The HTC OG VIVE foam inserts work great in a pinch as well.
Nice Shirt.
Have you got your SharkByte test set yet? When you do, could you please test it with those and sky03o too? I know, chances are slim, but for some sentimental reason I really really want SB to become a thing. Not as good as DJI but solid enough for its own niche and priced well...
Looks like I made the right decision going with these on pre!
They really looks like skyzone but damn this performance ! Eachine did a really good job for this one after the flop of ev300D
After 2 years using fatshark Hdo its time for something new. I just buy the eachine EV300o for 297 euro. Hopefully wil the goggle performance better than the fatshark hdo
Where did you get them this cheap?
You should do a review of the whole Eachine line if possible :)
Edit: They've got what seems to be new versions of the 100, 200, and 300 series as you are showing.
100’s are the worst $99 goggles you can buy
EV200 was a good budget option 3-4 years ago- now are the same price as the EV300 and not worth the price.
I had the same problem but it's simple enough, you just need to pop out a wide plate with a little force from the side.
Scored one on Banggood Chinese New Year flash sale $359!!!! No Brainer.
Yes, a digital video receiver in a modular bay is everyone's dream. I dream of a future like this.
Maybe I can pick up another set of the Skyzone 03o goggles for a bargain when the 040x comes out.
Skyzone sky04x + tbs fusion 😍😍
I have ev200d with stock modules. I hate the dvr. And modules. Maybe skyzone will be my next google?
Joshua Is it better to buy a DJI goggles and do an analog mod or to buy Skyzones Sky 04X and hope we will have a digital modules in near future ??
So her i am starting the whole hobby with a RTF Tinyhawk 2 Kit..
Taking a nice trip to Eachin Ev800D and a Radiomaster TX16s and now im thinking what do those 300$ googles better than the EV800D.
Honestly i dont think much in displayquality its still under HD right? so Range? sure thing,.. but than again the next upgradpath for me would be a iFlight Nazgul5 HD and than iFlight Nazgul5 HD with DJI Googles/Remote or am i missing something? And even when i wanted to upgrade my googles to something Analog the Eachine & Skyzone Cobra X would still be a damn good preorder pick..
do i miss something with those analog googles? is it the weight in comparison to boxgoogles? what am i not seeing please make me understand so that i learn something today! :)
I'm tempted, I need +3 reading glasses.
I do too and I don't know about the eachines or skyzones but I have the HDO2 and when I switched from the HD3, and having all the focus adjustment built in, it was like I had been flying blind for years. I highly suggest the HDO2 for anyone that uses glasses.
TY Joshua for another in depth goggle review , they are pretty badd ass but i made a decision about the goggle i want to invest in , i have some project that got to be finished b4 and when the day come for me to buy .... ORCA will be it . spending some more at start but imo over time they will serve me very well from day `1 + software update capable with out " is There something that is better out there ? " in my mind , to all cheers & be safe ;-)
What about latency
he addressed it and said this doesnt have latency issues like the older ev300 goggles did
Hi Joshua, do you think the RapidMix module will also work in the older EV200D? Its being sold separatly on BangGood.
