    Great vid. I’m getting ready to start my C59A flathead soon, and was wondering about how to pre-oil it as most say you can’t.

    Engine looks sweet man love it. I just put some Marvel mystery oil in my two flat head engines to see if it will become unsized if not its comin on out. In the future if I run in to any trouble, I might be askin you some stuff if you don't mind. and again, your videos are a tremendous help thank you.

      Absolutely. I’m happy to help with anything I can.
      Some old timers once told me to use apple cider vinegar in the cylinders to help free up flatheads. But in my experience with flatheads, it simply sometimes takes blunt force to get them free. Especially considering many of them have been stuck for 50 or more years.

    Is it the same on early flattys? I have a rebuilt 1940 that sat,id like to prelube before i get her running again.

      Yes. You can pressurize the oil system through the oil pressure port in any Flathead
