We just traded our Adventurer camper with East-west bed for a Lance with a North-south bed because we were tired of crawling over each other. Our first camper was a Palomino pop-up with a north-south bed so we really missed it while we had the Adventurer.
Not even a cameo by Toby? Because , lets face it he's your bestest accessory.☺ We have a truck camper after trying just about every type and style. We love it.
I'm gonna squeeze in Toby next week! UA-cam is a strange world. Mandi and I absolutely love Toby. I was shocked at the people who said they were unsubscribing and not watching the videos because I showed too much of Toby. I even had a comment saying they were no longer gonna watch because Toby was up next to me in bed while I was drinking my morning coffee. I LOVE that I have good dog folks watching the videos too. I know Toby's the star of the show! 🐕

One of retirement trips is to contrite 66 from start to finish. We are debating between getting a truck and camper and a an SUV with a small bumper pull. Your videos give us so much food for thought.

Kenny I spend 5 - 6 months down here in the Florida Keys in a truck camper since it's the only way I can trailer a boat all the way from Michigan to handle these waters in the winter ( avg daytime temps high 70's and night time lows avg high 60's) lol. I stay in a 2019 Lance 850 and although most would choke on what I pay monthly for my site it is worth every single dime I saved prior to retiring to enjoy nearly 175 bluebird days out of 180 days while my wife and I are down here. This is truly a dream come true for the last 4 years and all done in a tiny living space - by most folks living standards.

Make more than doctors on $150/day per diem (tax free) plus their hourly and OT. I would tell them when they were young "this stuff wasn't made in another galaxy".
Have watched every video you still have posted and love them all. You are an inspiration, maintenance, camping, dog, cleaning up someone’s garbage; anything you have done was awesome Kenny. Would love to see you go on a week long trip again like you did in the beginning. Thank you for the videos.

Don't forget that Tobi was also added to the camper. Great show always. I can appreciate all the things you have done to the camper, and sharing it with us. Over the last three years I have been playing with a off grid water colection system at my hunt camp, just because I find it interesting. Last year with my upgrades and designs had water all year. Sometimes doing your own upgrades makeing it your own can be so satifiing. Take care.

I was born and raised in small town in SE Minnesota. As a boy, I admired some folks in town who could somehow make anything work for them because they were skilled enough to fix and maintain things in their life or by helping friends and neighbors. You have made yourself a wonderful weekend nest that you enjoy year round and anywhere you want. You have made it yours, and I can feel the pride you have in your camper. Sometimes, in today’s world, it is difficult to remember that we have a unique soul that needs attention and care. It seems like your soul is be filled and restored by using your camper to find peace and solitude. You may have won the jackpot Kenny!

My vote of course it's going to be, I would really like to see a service video. Especially seeing yout I am not mechanically inclined at all, so getting advice on what should I be looking for, the steps to take care of something, also steps to prevent things from going wrong, well those are always helpful. Like one thing I'm really interested in it is when you're campers not on your truck, do saw horses, do you have a platform that you that helps take the stress not off just the camper Jacks but also the bottom of your camper where your water tanks and so forth. Love your videos, play also love the advice you provide, it's extremely valuable to me at least personally. So my vote is, service video. You have a great week and blessings to you and yours.
Great questions. I do have a platform built for long-term storage off the camper. I built it low to the ground, and I can use the camper when it's not in the truck. For the most part, the camper stays in the truck 365 days a year
BTW - I retired last year and your videos have inspired me to purchase my own truck camper and go see America. Thank you sir.

Thank you for all the work it takes to do these videos. I truly enjoy them and look forward to them. Over time you've really made some great modifications and additions to your home away from home, I'm sure it's an inspiration for others. I'm surprised that maintenance videos don't do well, there are so many UA-camrs that do that. Maybe the folks that watch aren't as interested but I'd certainly enjoy one. Take every opportunity to learn, you never know when it'll come into good play. You might mention your drone again, liscenseing, classes, laws, kinds, etc.. I had no clue about that! My husband made our small camp trailer. We dont have running water in it. The bathroom is basically what you do, but we us horse palets from Tractor Supply and add a few cups to the bottom of the bag just to help keep the smell from flowing through the camper. Works like a charm. Try the pellets, they also absorb the liquids. 😁

Kenny, thanks again for another great video. One thing you disnt mention was the stick on drip edge you used on the front of your camper. We did the same thing and you were right. It really helps keep all the drips off the front windshield. We also used it above alot of our doors. We also have a old camper so hopeing it helps keep water from creeping into a opening if we miss some caulking.
Thanks for reminding me. I'm gonna mention that next week. I'm making a list of everything I forgot. I'll do a part two next week with the maintenance.

One of these days! That first step is always the hardest. Life moves by so quickly. It's hard to find the time to relax. Hopefully, you can get out there sooner rather than later. Even if it just to sit next to some water for a few hours to recharge the mental batteries.

This is really interesting, seeing how you've made the camper work for you. Having been in one without the slide, it seems like that's a big benefit to get more elbow room. Being a tent camper, it's easy to see how this is a lot more comfortable and enables you to camp all year. I really enjoy all of your videos! You have a very calming presence, even when faced with challenges!
Yes to a maintenance! Seeing what it takes to keep anything going is great to see. Seeing what you have done to the truck to be able to continue what you do is also something me and many others would love to see as well. We love you and your content!

Love Menards bags for trash in the car, much tougher plastic than Walmart bags (which we use to pick up the gifts the dogs leave us in the yard). For our small garbage cans we like Woodman's bags, not as tough as Menards, but tougher than Walmart, and bigger than both.

Excellent video about your camper and your truck, I really enjoyed it. I have seen a lot of your changes, because I do not believe I have ever missed a episode. It recharges my batteries for another long week out on the road. There is a lot of crazy 4 wheelers out on the road that you have to watch all the time. I too have a 2015 Chevy SILVERADO that I absolutely like a lot. Only problem I had in the early stages was the water pump and thermostat housing leaking. G.M. flipped the bill on it. It was a recall, and they replaced the radiator free of charge. Its been a awesome truck. I still have my 83 1 ton SILVERADO 4X4, 4 SPEED ON THE FLOOR WITH A LIFT KIT ON IT.

Menards bags are the BEST!!! One thing we miss while on the road is not having Menards for cheap options. Harbor Freight seems to be available in more places. Man, we always envy that garage when you show it, ha! And we agree, having a generator is smart!
Thanks! I'm thankful to have access to the shed. It was raining and 40 degrees all weekend. I loved working inside there. Plus, my nephew keeps the heat set to 58. It's a perfect temperature to get work done!

Yes, maintenance videos are good are my thoughts. Not all the time but like your camper walk through, one a year or so is good for me personally. In fact, I need to redo some of the seals at the seams on my camper next weekend. I always suck at making it look good. I am always up to see any tips that may help.

On your front hitch easy fix
What I did to mine was weld a nut to inside of hauler then when I slid the hauler in I would run a bolt in to tighten hitch hauler tight to one side I haul 350 lbs on it works great and it’s easy if you have a welder

I have the same setup for your camper inside. Makes working on them inside out of the elements a easy fix of anything. I did see you coming at me out of Pierz awhile back and told my wife I follow you on u-tube .
Very cool! I get through Pierz every so often. I like the commercial wash machines at the grocery store for my beding. When I go to places like St.Criox or Rum River I drive through town.
