Great question! I usually keep a small electric heater in the camper. It does an awesome job. It has kept the camper warm down to -20 as long as it not windy. It just so happens that I ran out of propane at the house to a few days earlier. I took the heater out of the camper and into the house. I never got it put back.

This week's location was outstanding! With all the meat roasting over the fire, have you gone Carnivore style eating? Watching your videos ALWAYS makes me hungry! Have a great week!
That's awesome to hear! I love traveling in the Arctic Fox. I don't have a specific diet. I will come clean tonight.....Im a sugar addict. I love chocolate, pastries, carbs. I recognize my struggles, though, and if I stay away from sugar, the craving stops. The only food I love more than carbs is meat! So the last few months I have only been eating meat and dairy. The only thing I can't get rid of is hazelnut creamer. If I call what I'm doing a diet I will fail.....so I've been enjoying really delicious meat for the last few months. On the positive side I've lost 30 pounds!
@@KennyOfAllTrades Way to go, Kenny! I thought you were looking slim and trim! I'm doing alternate day fasting along with Keto, staying under 20 carbs on eating days. Like you, I eat a lot of meat, cheese, etc., and veggies, too, lost 25 pounds in two months and I'm definitely older than you. I'm going to have to go back through your earlier videos and search out those Mandi keto recipes that looked so wonderful!
In winter I prefer to drain the water lines, then keep a little heat going in the camper during cold snaps. Usually about 50-55 will do. I really hate to let it freeze solid overnight, then the sun pop up on it in the morning. I also keep 4 bottles of gas... never want to run out.
I hear you. That would be nice. In Minnesota, we have cold snaps where the high temps reach -20 and lows -45. It's an expensive task to keep heat on. When I go camping in those cold snaps, I go through a 20-pound tank of propane every day. Thankfully, we have had a mild winter . I only have a few videos of it being 20 to 30 degrees below this year.
Yes, I've been drinking Folders for 30 years. I've had other brands but always go back to what tastes like the old days. It reminds me of waking up as a kid with the smell of mom's Bunn offee pot filling the house. I know there's better coffee, but it tastes like the good old days.
My son and I have come to appreciate and look forward to your videos each Tuesday. You're quite good at doing them. It's nice to see some of your locations from our home state. We sympathize and identify with finding rain on some unfortunate occasions. Thanks for sharing your trips.
@@KennyOfAllTrades warning, 3 years ago i went through 4 sensors, they die up here in canada, moisture gets on the circuit boards, shorts em out that they drain through a brand new battery in a half hour. Used from may to sept, then die. 🍻
Great video, as always. Was wondering, being you have what looks like a generator on the front of your truck is the fridge Hot water tank only propane.
You are right, i could have run the generator. The fridge and hot water heater are also AC. But I keep the gas tank empty until I know I'm going to use it. Otherwise, the gas could sit in the generator for months on end. If I was on a road trip traveling someplace new I would have been better prepared. I don't plan anything for my weekend trips. I just drive and hit record.
@KennyOfAllTrades it was a great video. Gorgeous scenery, and you are correct ,you really have to put some effort in if you want to get the prime spots. Thanks for saying holy 🪣 buckets. It cracks me up.😂 Have a great week.
Kenny! I love your attitude man! No propane - no problem. 😂 If you ever find yourself in north Georgia, let me know. I’ll show you around! God bless you and thanks for another awesome trip!
I agree. Heaven must be close to that! I loved ‘chasing’ loons in my canoe with my two sons and late wife on board. They must hav enjoyed the play, because they brought their little ones close, so we could admire them. We were camping in Boundary Waters and it rained every day. We’d just suit up and paddle. I could just sleep peacefully listen to rain and loons. That Dutch oven is the business! Thanks for the ride and making me drool a bit.
Very cool stories Bill. I'm glad the video brings back memories. The Loons kept their distance on Friday when I arrived. By Sunday morning, they were only a few feet off shore. They are beautiful and curious birds.
No problems. I did get the rear end sunk in the shoulder at one point. It wasn't looking good. I should have taken a shot of the ruts, but I didn't want comments about damaging the road. Lol
Lol. My kids have said the same. The truth is I'm not extroverted and don't like groups of more than 3 people. The idea of doing a live stream brings up the same emotions as the idea of public speaking. It's hard to explain because I put myself out there every week on these videos.......but when I'm out camping I think of the camera as one person watching, and I'm carring on a conversation with only one person. I've always tried to make the viewer feel like they are out there with me. I most definitely don't think about 10k people behind the camera! Lol
@@KennyOfAllTrades I got ya! I don't know if I could do that either, let alone a weekly video! Thanks for what you do and here's to getting 10k this week or next!
Lol. I love VGG and enjoy Bushradicals laid-back style. That dude has skills. I watch a lot of car channels. 1st is VGG, 2nd is Sleeper Dude, and 3rd is no nonsense know-how. My favorite truck camping channel right now is Fishing with Becca. Taylor Dzaman truck camping channel is what got me watching UA-cam on the regular. UA-cam is my main source of entertainment now. I dropped satellite TV a few years back.
I'm not sure why I didn't toss in a line? It may have been the time of year. Ice out went quick this spring. And I might not have been carrying the rod. Or, I'll be honest, I'm a forgetful person. Sometimes, I get home from work on Friday night, and I jump into the camper so I can start the video right away. (I'm always pressed for time) I have driven 3 hours before realizing I left the laptop and camera at home. I'm sure the long-time viewers can attest that I'm not a professional outdoorsman, sportsman, RV channel, or UA-camr. I'm just a guy who enjoys getting away from civilization on Saturdays and Sundays. I carry the camera in hopes that maybe one day UA-cam will cover at least half of the fuel bill to find these remote locations.
I just open everything sinks shower drain tanks and drive home by the time I get home Iam dry but I do dump antifreeze in my sinks so pi traps don’t freeze and I have done that 25’ ball pull and 35’ 5th wheels and my Bigfoot and never no problems.
You have such an awesome camper setup. Must be great being able to camp when you want. The baby like crying you heard across lake. Was perhaps a sasquatch. As the woods you frequently camp. Sasquatch also use.
On them rainy days love my roof top auto satellite tracker just push one button and it raises and tuts to find SAT’s don’t use it a bunch but it’s great for weather or being locked in by big rain .

What i m afraid about these van, is that if you need to escape and drive away in case of an attack, you can t, you re stuck in the camper,!! Am i exagerating!? Can someone tell me how would you deal with this kind of problem?! Thank you
Very good question. Life is full of uncertainty. I wish I could give you perfect advice, but there are so many variables with every situation. I don't worry about what might happen, but i do think about it. It's good to prepare yourself. And if something does happen, I am positive I will come out on top. You can help prepare yourself for different situations by running through sceneries in your head. Then do some drills, see how fast you can get on the road if needed. Look around your camper or van to see what is readily available to defend yourself with. And don't put yourself in sticky situations. If you get somewhere and it doesn't feel right, you should probably leave. Listen to your spidy sences when they tell you something dont feel right.
@@KennyOfAllTrades thank you so much, couldn t have a better answer,. Maybe i exagerate and see wrong everywhere, we should live our lives with more thoughtless!thanks again, and hi from Italy ❤️🇮🇹❤️

This week's location was outstanding! With all the meat roasting over the fire, have you gone Carnivore style eating? Watching your videos ALWAYS makes me hungry! Have a great week!
Curious, what’s your truck?
@@SpykersB Dodge Ram 5500 Laramie dually, quad cab, 4x4 with a flatbed; it's sweet.
I keep a backup propane bottle
That is a good idea. I do in the winter when the temps get down to -40. I might have to make it an every weekend thing.
Is Folgers coffee your go-to brand at home, too? Now, I'm looking forward to having ribs in the dutch oven next year. Another great adventure!
Yes, I've been drinking Folders for 30 years. I've had other brands but always go back to what tastes like the old days. It reminds me of waking up as a kid with the smell of mom's Bunn offee pot filling the house. I know there's better coffee, but it tastes like the good old days.
@@KennyOfAllTrades Some things, you just can't buy. Nicely done!
My son and I have come to appreciate and look forward to your videos each Tuesday.
You're quite good at doing them. It's nice to see some of your locations from our home state.
We sympathize and identify with finding rain on some unfortunate occasions.
Thanks for sharing your trips.
Thank you very much Jerry. I appreciate you guys following along. I'm glad to share a little bit of home with you.
I just added a mopeka LP gas tank on each of my tanks. Shows on app on your phone. It is fantastic. About $90 for 2 sensors and you can name them
Very cool. I'll have to check them out. Thanks
@@KennyOfAllTrades I saw them on k y d and ordered them. Installed last weekend, about 2 mins per tank including naming in app
@@KennyOfAllTrades warning, 3 years ago i went through 4 sensors, they die up here in canada, moisture gets on the circuit boards, shorts em out that they drain through a brand new battery in a half hour. Used from may to sept, then die. 🍻
Good info!
You’re killing me with the ribs. Just finished eating dinner and I’m starving again. 😂😂😂
Lol. Thanks!
Hello from the sunny Ozarks Kenny! Another video of value! tight lines and bent rods!
@@KennyOfAllTrades wasn't for sure if campers are like travel trailers
For the most part, all the appliances are the same as the TT. I'm spoiled by having all the luxuries in the woods.
You are hilarious 😂. I do love the sound of a good rainstorm.
Those ribs look 👍 great.
Thank you Dianne. The ribs were so good. I agree, the sound of rain is calming. I slept good Saturday night 🌙
@KennyOfAllTrades it was a great video. Gorgeous scenery, and you are correct ,you really have to put some effort in if you want to get the prime spots. Thanks for saying holy 🪣 buckets. It cracks me up.😂
Have a great week.
Kenny, I love Tuesdays now! Keep up the good stuff!
Thanks Roy!
Kenny! I love your attitude man! No propane - no problem. 😂
If you ever find yourself in north Georgia, let me know. I’ll show you around! God bless you and thanks for another awesome trip!
Thank you so much! That is very cool of you to offer.
Nice weekend. I knew you would get out alright.
No problems. I did get the rear end sunk in the shoulder at one point. It wasn't looking good. I should have taken a shot of the ruts, but I didn't want comments about damaging the road. Lol
@@KennyOfAllTrades I completely understand.
Those ribs look so good!
Thanks for watching Allen
Dude that intro was edited amazingly! Great video
Thank you, I appreciate the compliment. That's always nice to hear.
I'll take camping in the rain over working in it any day! Almost 10K subs! You should do a live stream party at 10k. 😁🥳
Hey Kenny we must be subscribed to all the same people seen you watching vgg now bushradical
No fishing there nice spot also
I'm not sure why I didn't toss in a line?
@@KennyOfAllTrades that's ok I understand be safe my friend thanks
I love that campsite and the sound of crickets and the frogs. Just perfect. I love the way you camp my kind of camping lol.
Thanks Vicky. I love the truck camper. It does make getting out easy when you're not sacrificing comfort.
On them rainy days love my roof top auto satellite tracker just push one button and it raises and tuts to find SAT’s don’t use it a bunch but it’s great for weather or being locked in by big rain .
Another awesome video. I could smell those ribs all the here in northern Colorado. See you next week.
Thanks John!
Another great adventure 😊🌲🌵🌳👋
Thanks Matt
And the peepers are deafening. How wonderful!
Excellent video! Off roading with the truck camper!
Thanks!
Just found your channel and so happy i did.
Im happy your enjoying videos.
@@KennyOfAllTrades I am! Only driven through small portion of Minnesota. And spent some time at Cross lake. Have friends up that way, and have always wanted to explore it more. Super happy to have found you!
Great video, subbed this week, Runaway Roses sent me over! I noticed your IH hat, do you watch squatch253 ?
Thanks for watching! I'm happy to have you follow along. I've never seen that channel, do we share the same style in hat wear?
@@KennyOfAllTrades I follow several IH tractor channels, squatch253 is currently doing a rebuild on a Farmall H. He is also in MN. I'm also a GM HD truck guy, getting my 4th one this year. (3500)
Very cool
Maybe i exagerate and see wrong everywhere, we should live our lives with more thoughtless!thanks again, and hi from Italy ❤️🇮🇹❤️
wow ive been watching your videos fairly regularly and could have fooled me on not liking camp fires!
They have grown on me a little this winter. I'm not sure if I'll continue them this summer or not. Cooking over the fire has been nice, and the analytics show people enjoy watching food being cooked over fire.
i love you!!! i love your vidios!!! Make more!!
Thank you. Your kind words keep me motivated to get in the camper on the weekends.
Damn. Your about to hit 10k. Congratulations!! Amazing video as always!
Sooooooo close!!!
Hey Kenny, I enjoy going camping with you. The scenery is just beautiful and quiet and that pork was delicious. See you on the next one until then take care.

Love the loons and pretty spot too..good on ya...🍁
Kenny, you pick a beautiful spot. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate. I enjoy watching you grill all the time. Your are serious grill master.🍗🥓👍🏼
Thanks Mike! I appreciate you watching. Ive got lucky over the coals this year! I enjoy eating, and I enjoy meat.....perfect combo for the grill!
Nighttime sounds are amazing.
It's funny you mention that. I'm editing the video from this weekend, and I'm letting the sounds of the night fad off the last night time scene. It's so peaceful. Thanks for watching.
2:26 it’s a baby Samsquatch! Trust me.
I think you are right.
Great videos. Agree on the campfires. Lol. I’d go over bumps and hole on those dirt roads a lot slower ! Always carry a spare propane..
Thanks for watching Art, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
