Another great video...with special "lounging guest" Toby!!!
Side note, I am a instructor with the American Red Cross and I recommend everyone take a First Aid, CPR, and AED training course. Needless to say I will be a bit biased when I say to take training from the Red Cross. If you do a lot of hiking and camping and remote camping like Kenny does, I recommend that you take the Wilderness First Aid course as well. It covers more information on Heat-Related Emergencies, Hypothermia, Altitude-Related Illnesses, Allergies and Anaphylaxis, Burns, Bone and Joint Injuries, Wounds and Wound Infection, and splinting.
I won't go into a whole lot of details as there are a ton of different types of first aid kits out there but yes, make sure you have a tourniquet like the C.A.T. and learn how to use it properly. I would also say include Narcan nasal spray in your kits, a prescription is no longer required and I saw it on the shelf in Walgreens the other day.
While telling your friends and family where you are going or at, another good idea is if you like to go really, really, really remote, bring an emergency locator beacon with you. It could be your last resort for help. Yes, they can be pricy but if you are up a certain creek without a paddle, it will be worth it.

Evening! So look forward to your videos! Thank you, I know its a lot of work!a suggestion for your 1aid kit is liquid benadryl. Now that you are traveling w Toby, its good to have on hand in case he gets bitten. Also good for humans. It absorbs into the body quickly because its liquid. I travel w dogs and also carry charcoal tablets - just in case. Wishing you an amazing week and can’t wait for next Tuesday!

That was Stanley! I had a big mama cat show up last fall. She had a litter of kittens in a truck bed behind the garage. She was friendly, so I named her Kitty. She had a few kittens. Two kittens stuck around, Stanley, Angela. They are my outside kitties. Stanley is super lovable and always wants attention. Angela stays back until the food comes out. The moma cat and kittens made their way back to the neighbor farm.

Enjoyed the video, glad to see Toby! I’m glad you have a good first aide kit with you, also glad to know I’m not the only one who gets banged up and cut! One thing I would suggest in your first aide kit is something called “after bite” I’ve worked outside most of my life and these swabs really help with bee/wasp stings. And being Toby will be with you a dog first aide kit would be good to have too, plus you should carry benedryl tablets for him as well. Your Vet can tell you the dosage but I keep that on hand at home for my dogs as well.

Awesome Setup, I love your camper, great job on all the power. Love the flashbacks I should do that on my videos. I just spent 5 grand on solar panels, controller, inverter and batteries for my camper the expense hurt bad but I am really loving it. I know how it is I have two red bone hound dogs that have past on a lot of my early videos, LOL yea your face and Lip was HUGE. I was a Flight nurse in the Air Force, spent 10 years on Rockingham Augusta Search and Rescue as an EMT here in the George Washington National Forest and 30 years in Law Enforcement you would be surprised how many people ill-prepared in all aspects of life not just camping and outdoor adventures. Kenny........awesome video! THANK YOU for showing your First Aid Kit. You are set! The stop bleed and tourniquet are two items that everyone needs. I carry a couple of tourniquets in my truck's glove box that I use to have in my patrol car. You never know when you'll come across a serious car accident where the tourniquet could keep someone from bleeding out. I also carry level 5 cut resistant gloves, nitrile gloves and my safety hammer window breaker/seatbelt cutter tool from the old days.

Thanks! I have run e everything on the modified sine wave for years without an issue, including my laptop. With that said, I have found some power stations will not charge. I think the higher end models have a smart charing technology. My small power stations are no problem. The Allpowers has tons of safety built in. It sees the modified sine wave and won't accept it.

I run two Duracell group thirty-2s in the camper. Then I have two lithium batteries in the backseat of the truck. Next weekend is fishing opener. Have you decided on the fold up kayak? We need to see your shore lunch cooking abilities.
PS. Don't forget the tackle box this time.
    Thanks,

Hello Kenny always great videos!! Some Safety suggestions: Use a "transfer switch" to isolate and select one or the other for shore or solar generator. If not that, wire it so you can only select one or the other but never both. Always use good quality DC breakers between your inverter and battery bank AND between your solar panel array and your solar charge controller.. Use wire and breakers that are rated for the max current that these devices will draw. It is always a good idea to use breakers so you can isolate the system when you are working on it. When wiring, use the largest gauge wire that will fit into your electrical contacts and keep your runs as short as possible so you don't have a voltage drop and loose power..so many times I have seen people using 4 or 6 gauge wire to an inverter where the inverter was drawing 200 amps and they should have been using 1/0 gauge wire-ending up with a glowing toaster wire to the inverter. and as you say, if you don't know what you are doing find someone who does.. Take a look at Will Prowse's UA-cam videos on wiring RV and solar systems.

Thanks so much for showing us around and disclosing details. BTW I think you have a cat that wants to go camping with you too. Take care and safe travels!

I switched to lithium and haven’t looked back. All you need to do is snip the wire in the control panel that does your charging for the house batteries (usually yellow). Pick up a lithium 110v battery charger and a dc dc charger and you are good to go. 👍👍

For sure. One day, I'm gonna make the switch. I'm sure I won't regret it and wonder why I didn't do it sooner. No doubt lithium is superior.

Since we started watching I have admired that drop table, but never got a good enough look, so thanks for the how to. My setup is a little different so not going to be able to exactly duplicate it.
Love the drone video, I was trying to simplify and minimize because I was just not using mine, so I sold it, now I wish I hadn't. At some point you might explain some of the drone stuff, Part 107 to monetize, and using an app like B4UFly.
Watching camera angles etc and being a photographer, I am amazed at how you do the setup, shoot, go back and get camera etc. You wok your butt off.
    Thanks for that.

Always enjoy camper reviews and upgrades. For safety, I think you should consider a transfer switch for the AC selection control. I stuck one in my trailer. Simple and relatively cheap and works great. Looking forward to you getting back out camping. Take care.

That's my boy Stanley. Last year, I had a neighbors barn cat show up and have kittens behind my garage. Moma went back home when the kittens were on their own. Two of them stuck around. We have Stanley and Anglea outside. They live in the garage. They both are little lovers, but Stanley likes to cuddle more the Angela. They have been in the house a few times, but they prefer to live outside. I had a cat dropped off at the end of my driveway last fall. His name is Morty. He was 100% house cat, so he lives inside. Oddly enough, the 3 don't get along, so Morty doesn't get to chase the mice like Stanley and Angela. Toby gets along with Morty and Stanly. They dont pay much attention to each other. Angela doesn't have any time for Toby.
