  • What is going on everyone! We went to Packery recently and had a slow, but eventful day! We caught a black drum for dinner, and sight casted our first jack crevalle for the year! Been very limited on time, raising a family, vacations, and work, so glad we finally made it work! Hope y'all enjoy the video!
    ALSO, WE HIT 2K SUBSCRIBERS SO WE ARE DOING A CUSTOM ROD GIVEAWAY SOON! Be on the lookout for a poll as for what kind of custom rod I'll be building for the winner! You have to be subscribed and follow some of my other socials....

      Yo-zuri 3D inshore twitch bait, in the largest model the 5-1/4inch! Kings and jacks can’t stand them!

      Thanks man, that’s a tough question. Last year we were catching them in May, this year I haven’t heard of any at Port A or Packery. The water temp typically needs to be above 70° and clean. It’s tough, really tough, this year! May-October is a good time to target them!

    8:45 How did it break off? i hate when that happens especially when those lures are so expensive now a day.

      I converted it to bail-less/manual pickup. The spool will freely spin around and it’s in the wrong position when you cast, your first loop will catch the spool and just pop your line! I hate it too, which is why I went back home and put the bail back on!

    Where did you get the bail less kit for the shield?

    • @KardiacOutdoors
      @KardiacOutdoors  2 місяці тому

      J&H Tackle, online. I put my bail back on it. The bail freely swings with the bail-less kit on it so if you aren’t careful it will swing around and catch your line when you cast, causing your lures to break off

      I will check them out. Thanks for the heads up.
