I've been messing around with a pure synchro blackwing deck, and I feel like I have a good one but do you have any imput on how to make it competitive like top locals and lower championship series and what would you include in the deck? Like maybe something that focuses on the blackwing burn and less on king calamity. I would really appreciate it! :) I love that blackwings have so many different variants and can do so much.
For pure synchro, I would most likely try to fit in as many handtraps/board breakers as possible. Basically taking the Kali Yuga requirements out (Rank ups, Kunai, Zonda, etc) and add Triple Tactics Talent, Ghost Ogres etc in the main deck! The major card to beat in synchro is Nibiru, so Crossout Designator in the side deck for it is a must! With the end board I would try to make Full Armor Master with Chinook in hand, Sharnga in grave and end up on 2/3 Black Winged Assault Dragons
@@SilentBW I want to wish you the best of luck in the next tournament in a month, I know you'll show them the true power of blackwings! I would love to compete more in locals and stuff, but with working and taking care of my family, its sometimes hard to find time to get up to the local scene and compete. That is why I tend to play more edopro and masterduel so I can atleast get my fix from that and still keep up with the current meta. This is my list, and I actually have been winning a lot of games with it with just the above cards you mentioned. I also have red hot in the deck because having an omni negate does help and I have little knight because even if its a synchro deck, I think everyone should play the card if they are able to. If you have any comments or any ways to improve it I would love to hear it. Congrats on reaching top 8 I've been playing RDA for a while, but I noticed several players in our community are beggining to play Blackwings, so I think I'll dust off my own Blackwings, make some adjustments and take it to locals By the way, on game 1, how did you summon Brave Strix using BWD as material? EDIT: Nevermind, I just read Kunai's effect
I didn't want my opponent to look into my extra + him getting free bodies. I knew that if his hand would be even a bit weak (while still having Veiler & Droplet in hand) I could negate the Ash and try to OTK with Droplet + Arc Rebellion Dragon even if he ends up on I:P/Apollousa + like a Dimensional Barrier set. However, the Triple Tactic Talents and One for One was too much this time
