Sad times.😢 fabulous buildings been demolished.
Great historical clips 👏
Thanks Stephen. Great as always. Some of the pictures I recognise and all the memories come flooding back.
Those early days were much happier and safer than now there's no turning back today there's more crime and the communitys mix less...
Sadly it's the same everywhere, generally people are less community spirited.
Enjoyed that. Lovely work as always.
I keep hoping to see pictures of the long gone Stephenson Street in North Ormesby in your videos as I've been trying to locate pictures of it for years but they are so hard to come by. Still, great video.
Thanks you, unfortunately I haven't come across any photos of Stephenson Street but as I am always doing online searches for old photos of the area hopefully one will turn up one day.
This is another fab video

Excellent presentation, the accuracy of the photographers position of before and after is superb. The background music is appropriate for the theme. This is excellent work really enjoyed this video as it awakes memory and feeling documenting character loss , enhancement and conservation of the buildings and streetscapes. This is valuable tool in historical recording. The british are superb in this skill. Grade premium plus for this work.
Thank you, I'm really happy that you appreciate my work.
@@BigMack1959 Hi Stephen , yes Im very impressed by it . You clearly are very professional and I love your style and presentation, it is top quality and delivers great sense of connection with the subject comparisons for the viewer.Few have an ability to achive that quality. You manage to cover huge spectrum of applications from technical to the creative. You bring to life the value of the past. From a business perspective, your work carries currency for local authorities planning and development monitoring as well as valuable historical archives. Your work merits high recognition and I love watching your videos.
@@Flughafenkaiser that's very kind of you to say, I live in this area and over the decades have witnessed all the changes to Middlesbrough and many were not for the best. I decided to make these videos so that the younger people who live in the area can see what the town once was. Hopefully future generations will be able to see these videos and the future ones i hope to post.
@@BigMack1959 Stephen, your work will add greatly to the value of history because you do it out of care and connection to place. I feel exactly the same about my place of birth and how it is being destroyed. I am not as lucky as you are, to have the skills you do , by recording in a very unique and beautiful way. I mean that sincerely. Your work is very very valuable. Since covid I have began to revisit and connect to place and its importance in our lives. Your work enhances that vital life sign. I could discuss this with you for ever. !!LOL. The joy of seeing your work has confirmed with great sense of relief that memory, value and appreciation is not lost but preserved and protected. In my book, I see you being Knighted by the Queen for your contributions to this magnificent topic.
