- This is the latest of my Then & Now video slideshows which show changes in
Middlesbrough over many decades using old photos and new photos taken from as close to the same position as is possible now.

These videos are great Stephen , I am 62 years of age and my dad is coming up 85 , I love to see the smile on my dads face when I play these videos to him. Keep up the good work Stephen.

Thank you Jameel, unfortunately due to other commitments it takes me a while to get new videos ready but I'm happy that you like them.
Thank you from me too! My father was born in Middlesbrough, one side came from the South Wales Valleys around 1870 for the steel industry, the other side were in and around North Yorkshire and Durham already. My father is 85 and it's great to show him these pictures as we haven't been back for 30 years. Looking forward to anymore you manage to find in the future.

I am interested in old United and Corporstion buses. If you google these in Middlesbrough there are loads of super pictures
One of the ol2 United 268 comes to mind and a brilliant one of the old corporation bus exchange with a couple of taxis under the Albert Bridge circa 1970

Hi Ant, there is a chap on the Facebook group "Memories Of Middlesbrough" who is part of a group that restores old buses and they regularly have events where the pubic can can ride on these buses. I think that you would be interested in these events.

Very wonderful videos showing Middlesbrough through the ages then and now, thoroughly enjoy them. Out of curiosity some of these images where did you get the images from for the videos?
Thank you, most of the images for the "then" photos I've found online spending too much time looking for old Middlesbrough photos. Sometimes someone will contact me and lend me photos to scan and use plus there are several Facebook groups which post old photos. As for the "now" photos nearly all of them have been taken by me.
@@BigMack1959 Ah ok, that's interesting, I forgot to say the music, very lovely relaxing music too especially if to unwind for instance. The videos, beautiful and fantastic, I'll definitely look forward to the next one when you get round to it.
