When I was a teenager I used to help my grandfather make wine. Just like you, he'd use all types of different fruits and would surprise everyone. I really miss those days. Your videos got me hooked, I've watched almost all of them. You're inspiring me to start making wine!
Thanks for sharing your experience with your grandfather 🙂 and for watching and sharing the videos. Keep us updated 🍾
you've really pumped out a lot of videos recently. Been subscribed for many years now. Thanks for all the great content. I'm making your pineapple wine right now. Been fermenting for 3 days now.
Thanks ☺️ keep us updated with the tasting 🍾🥳🍍
Thank you so much for the recipe is an amazing final product I’ll definitely try this recipe.
🥳🍷 keep us updated
Now I live in Indoensia where is sooo much expensive alcohol and wine, but they have lot off cheap bananas, ananas and dragon fruits 😀 Now you solved my problem 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
😉👍🏼 spectacular
Please drink with moderation
Are you living in Sulawesi?
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato Thanks good on Bali 😀 Another Island is still little bit wild wild west 😀 Specialy with muslim majority. Here in Bali local peoples ferment the coconut meat and make wine (Tuak) or destiled and make Arak 😀But all variant has a crazy taste 😀
😂👍🏼 I would like to visit Bali 😉 because I would like to see manta ray 🤩
I like how you make the video like if you shooting for your family, simple yet truly pleasing.
Please do more of savory Italian dishes
Love from Saudi Arabia
Thanks ☺️
😉 I will 👍🏼
There is something about your videos, they are informative, interesting and gives a calming feeling. You're videos are perfect
Thanks 🥳 for your support 🤗 and your kindness
SPEC-TA-CULAR!
🥳🍷🤪 THANKS
This is my first time to watch your videos. I would like to thank you for sharing this. Watching you from Philippines. We have a lot of dragon fruits in here, can't wait for the season and will try my first dragon fruit wine.
Thanks Dhong for your support and for sharing the videos with friends and family 🍷
Thanks for the tasting 🙏🏻 very tasty 😋
🥳🤩👍🏼 thanks
Oh my days what a beautiful fruit, never heard of it. In the UK we don't have it unless it may be in specialised stores wonderful vid as always thanks luv n light x
Yes 👍🏼 you can find it in Asia store
Great video, as always. I am surprised that the final gravity is so high. Many yeasts are available that will continue to ferment beyond 10% ABV. Of course, if sweet wine is the goal, then it's perfect.
Yes me too 🤔 because with same yeast the pineapple wine reached 11.5 % ABV
That looks really good. 👍
Thanks 🥳🍷
looks spectacular
Thanks 🥳😉🍷👍🏼
I have watch many tutorial about making wine from dragonfruit, but I prefer your receipe
Thanks 🥳🍷🤪 for your support
Just came across your channel today and I really like your videos !
Thanks 😊 please share the videos with friends and family 🤩
Just subscribed. 😊
As a highly food-oriented person who has been making my own meads, wines and ciders since my grandmother taught me how to over 30 years ago, I really enjoyed this video (and others you made). You seem to like to try your hand at fermenting many different kinds of fruits. That’s something very familiar to me: visit the local market or greengrocer’s, and that thought pops up: “How will this taste if I turn it into a wine?”
I won’t be making crazy things like onion wine. That’s not my thing. And my preference goes to meads, because mead is the first alcohol I learned to make.
Please keep the videos coming. I’ve also enjoyed the content on food items like sun-dried tomatoes, smoked bacon etc.
Spectacular 🥳 thanks for your support 🙂
You really understand my feelings 👍🏼🍷
Please share the videos with friends with the same food oriented ideas
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato - I will share whenever possible and appropriate!
My daughter and SO always do a facepalm when I’m looking at fruit. They KNOW what I’m thinking. I’ve told them that I’m pretty certain that it’s the kind of thinking that goes through a lot of home brewers’ minds! But as long as they keep enjoying what I make, they know they have to “suffer” in silence, help me carry those bags of fruit, and live with the sound of bubbling airlocks in the kitchen. 🤣
Spectacular 🥳
Yes 👍🏼 my wife have the same problem 😂
Wow ! 😍😍😍 for me I used to make by myself from grapes with sugar keep for 1 week then can taste it, smell and taste are so good.
Thanks for sharing your recipe 👍🏼🍾
you're welcome :
🥳
Looks amazing Chef.
Thanks 🥳🍷😀
I’ve found your channel recently and I love it. I like how you’re all business and you just explain the steps and show the process, not going on and talking about other things and getting sidetracked.
Is dragon fruit flavourful in wine? I was planning on making two gallons (4L) this weekend but was only able to get 10lbs of dragon fruit, do you think it would still make for a nice wine or should I go find more fruit/scale back water?
Thanks ☺️
The dragon fruit is not so tasty but give you a beautiful 🤩 color
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato awesome!! I went back and found a few more pounds of dragon fruit, will be starting your recipe in about 2 hours.
Thanks for the help!! Keep up the good work!! :)
🤪 keep us updated
Great recipe. I appreciate your straightforward approach to making alcohol. Could one use freeze dried dragon fruit?
Yes 👍🏼 you can
Dragon Fruit.. yuhuu
Thanks you for showing dragon fruit recipe.
Thanks for watching and sharing the video 👍🏼🍷
hello thank you so much for your videos and ideas! they are amazing and helpful. You used a lot more sugar here than in the mango wine recipe. Is it because the fruit contains less sugar? How do you come up with the right amount for each fruit? :)
Thanks ☺️
Yes 👍🏼 because dragon fruit have less sugar and because I was looking for a sweet wine. I base this recipe on the cherry wine 🍷
Spectacular 👌👌👌👌👌👌
🥳 thanks
What a beautiful color
Spectacular 😉 color 😂
I was eagarly waiting for your new video. New Subscriber here. you are awesome!!
take love from Bangladesh.
Thanks buddy for your support 🥳

I finally found my favorite channel!
Thanks Paul 🥳👍🏼
Man, just love the color! I'm assuming brown sugar does change reddish pink natural for dragonfruit.
I just made Blueberry-Dragonfruit cider being bottled last week so hopefully it shall taste good.
Keep us updated 👍🏼🥳 it will be spectacular
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato Thanks and I will!
Can u show a video on how u collect and store the yeast form your last set of wine u made? Thxs very much.
Ok 👍🏼 ua-cam.com/video/XzPaINFECzQ/v-deo.html
Really interesting, if you put less sugar will it go more sparkling?
For sparkling follow this recipe ua-cam.com/video/R3Vn2n6UOK4/v-deo.html
great video! 👏 but what is the use of adding lime in each fermentation?
For the acidity
Can you please explain how you use your hydrometer and how you arrive at the computations. Thank You!
I am doing a video about it 😉 you will watch it soon
very nice and creative
Thanks Raymond 🍷👍🏼
look forward to passion fruits wine making video.
🥳🍷 thanks
I like your all recipies wine love from India ♥️
Thanks 🥳🍷
Hello, thank you for recipe . Is there a possibility to use Honey instead of sugar?
Sure 👍🏼
Your demeanour makes me laugh it’s like you’re passionate and don’t give a fuck all at the same time yet make such great creations 😂😂
😂 thanks
Can I use one lemon instead of lime?
Great video!!!
Yes 👍🏼 you can

Do i can use that fermented dragon fruit for something after i take the wine?
For vinegar or food for chickens
Perfect for Sangria... 🍷❣️
Party 🎉
Olá por que não colocou a casca da fruta na primeira fermentação como é feito com as uvas ? Excelente processo de elaboração caseira grande abraço...
Ciao 👋🏼 because I was not sure of the origins of the fruit
Thank you sir for the recipe sir...i have lots of dragon fruit...i want to make wine out of it...
Spectacular 🍾👍🏼 keep us updated
Where did u get the container u ferment the wine from? Can’t find it anywhere

can u show us how to make mead?
Sure 😉 ua-cam.com/video/aCQMb6OVWq8/v-deo.html
I drank this on a dragon fruit farm in the Philippines a few months ago. It is very good and not sweet or syrupy like brandy.
👍🏼 yes 😉 different recipe = different wine
Can you explain why some fruits u put the same kilo sam water but different sugar ?
Because some fruit is more sweet than others
Come from the UK this is a very exotic expensive individually sold fruit, then I went to the Philippines and is cheaply sold by the bag
Yes 👍🏼
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato 😆The man him self
🤔
Hello may I ask why you use plastic jars instead of glass for the fermentation process? Any concern about bacteria from plastic just wondering this will be my first time.
I have always used plastic containers for the fermentation and glass bottles for storing
If you add a bit more sugar to the bottle will it bottle condition and become sparkling wine?
Probably not because there is already a lot of sugar at the beginning, if you want sparkling wine it’s better to follow the pineapple wine recipe 😉
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato I already made your pineapple wine and it was fantastic - in fact I found a couple bottles left to condition for a couple of months and those were far better than the “fresh” ones - the yeast ate up all of the off flavours / sulfur-y vibe 😻😻😻
Spectacular 🥳🤪🍾
How long can you keep the wine?
1 year
❤❤🎉nice
Thanks 🥳
This wine looks spectacular. Wish i could make some, but it's just imposible to find nice dragon fruits in Ukraine. When the war ends, i definitely gonna order some spectacular pineapples and dragon fruits to try your recipes.
P.S. Have u tried a black chokeberry(aronia) wine? I don't know if it grows in Italy, but if u can find it - worth trying for sure. The wine turns out even better, if u mix aronia with grapes.
Thanks for the idea 👍🏼 but aronia it’s difficult to find in Italy, I never see it. Probably on the mountain 🏔️
Maybe in the future I will find 😉
I tried your strawberrywine recipe, but it turned out really bitter and barely drinkable unfortunately... I had to backsweeten it almost into sirup to make it drinkable. Not sure what i did wrong, but i will try again with dragonfruit :)
😬 I am sorry 😞 I don’t know why
Keep us updated with the dragon 🍷 this one will be sweet
Bro strawberry j have learned is a fruit that you’d think it would turn out sweet but is always very bitter tasting mainly because in USA strawberry’s aren’t harvested properly
😬
how long it will takes to expire?
1 year
I need to do stuff like this 😫
Now you can
Can ask you to make for us this receipt Melassa di peperoncino pls thank you
🤔 I should make some research
What if i dont have muscovado sugar?
You can use brown sugar
Wow. Ugh. I don’t need another hobby. But here I go purchasing everything now.
😂👍🏼 keep us updated
How long will it last in bottle?
6 months - 1 year
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato should we sterilize the bottle first?
Yes 👍🏼 if you can
👌👌👌
🥳🍷🙂🤩
Hi brother Rajan from india 😊🍷 super 😋
Thanks Rajan 🥳🍷
You got a very nice colour to that wine. I have only seen dragon fruits that are white inside. They are also quite insipid that warrants the large quantity of sugar. Red looks spect-aa-culaa . Tell me a fruit with which you haven't made wine yet. Still undiscovered I think.😂
😂👍🏼🍷 thanks
Yes 😉 it’s only good for color very insipid
it took so long. iv never had it take that long.
🤔
what is alvocado my frend?
Sorry 😬 what do you mean?
Try plum wine
I can not find in Asia 😩
Someone have try with White pitaya/dragon fruit?
No 😬 sorry, better with red dragon fruit
Tanks, i will try next saison... i like to experiment 😊
Keep us updated 😉👍🏼
Süper 💯💯💯💯💯💯..
🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
why to put tea every make win?
To add tannins
Very great, but unfortunately this fruit is not available in Iran .
😩 sorry
Cho công thức đi bạn cảm ơn nhiều nhiều !!!
The recipe is in the comment of the video
That fruit looks like what they eat in hell, but I bet it tastes so good and makes awesome wine :)
😂👍🏼 yes 😉 it’s good
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
🥳🤩👍🏼🍷😉
i think that fermentation wasn't perfect because you didn't add nutrient and water at beginning. 1150 is way too high in my opinion and im using turbo yeast which has %20 - 25 tolerance. Too much gravity stresses yeast out and that ends with "sweet wine" like this. I personally don't care much about alcohol level since it's safe to preserve level like %10 - 12 so you can add water and nutrients (if your pineapple wine sediment was dead yeah it was a nutrient but you didn't mention it so i don't know) to get more bottles of dry wine. You know, that stalled fermentation can't be carbonated/sparkled because yeast is probably dead and if not bottle will certainly explode. I brewed my first wines from your videos, actually cherry wine video with wild yeast and it went nice now i improved stuff, bought an hydrometer (broke one but second one is coming i hope) bought a plastic tube to rack and calculating things like acids tannins ph yeast tolerance etc.
I'd rather to see you add more water instead of hoping it will be good my friend.
Thanks for the advice 👍🏼 keep us updated 😉 one day I will try turbo yeast
wish i knew where to get dragon fruit in ohio lol
😂👍🏼 keep us updated 😉
One point two kilograms
Ok 👍🏼 thanks ☺️
fermented cane sugar is not wine
👍🏼 thanks
Homemade wine can turn toxic
Why ? 🤔
Do you grow dragon fruit in Italy?
My local supermarket charges a fortune for just 1 piece. This makes your recipe unaffordable.
Sorry 😬 at the moment I am in Thailand. Very easy to find 👍🏼🍷
