  • If Shepard fails to catch Morinth's attention during Samara's loyalty mission
Samara: The Ardat-Yakshi, causing her to flee, this conversation will play out when you return to the Normandy and talk to Samara.
Failing to get Samara's loyalty may negatively impact the success of the final assault on the Collector Base, depending on your choices.

Love how failure condition of this mission is achieved through Shepard having absolutely no rizz and scaring Morinth away with their negative charisma.

It’s technically also a failure if you betray her for Morinth it’s just she’s replaced

Thank you for doing these so that I don't have to as Shepherd.

Liara will track her down. She is the Shadow Broker after all, and will live as long as Morinth.

But Morinth would always be more powerful. She already has age on Liara significantly and there's the Ardat Yakshi part also. Realistically, Liara loses a 1v1 100% of the time.
There are other ways she could take down Morinth though.

@@grandmasterace4785Liara was always way too overpowered for no reason. Especially in the shadow broker dlc where a literal asari spectre runs away from some archeologist who's barely an adult.

@@friendlyreaper9012To be fair, Liara is also a combat veteran after ME1, and Vasir would not only have to kill her, but also take on Shepard's squad - safer to gey away if possible.

Always wished that Samara had more of a development past what she was given. Her “romance,” on ME3 is really nice tie in, but I would gladly trade it for some character stories from her. All those years of fun stories. Great video. Never seen this dialogue as well. :)

But she does have stories to share if you ask her about her past. More backstory would be awesome but I felt she was always a very compelling character

@@basicbluetrash in agreement there. Just wish there was more is all! Definitely no arguments when it comes compared to someone like Kasumi.

That’s both the fun and problem when making a species with longer lifespans that it’s more likely they’ll focus on the history of a certain individual of that species than giving each individual of said species a developed past

Will there be another dialogs after this one? I mean is it still posible to achieve the last dialog, where she thanks Shepard (and where they can flirt with her) or where she says that she will kill Shepard after the mission is done (renegade outcome)

Yes, the rest of her conversations will play out after completing new missions.

@@EmilyOnGames I didn't have hope that this is true. Thanks a lot

What happens in ME 3 ?

If Samara managed to survive ME2 despite her not being loyal, she still shows up in ME3. Some of the dialogue in the monastery is different only if you never attempted completing the loyalty mission.
