I used to dislike floating pillars, but then TFP started disabling viable base designs. When the hatch hallway was nerfed I decided. "fine you want me to build cheese bases I'll build cheese bases."
How was the hatch hallway changed?
@@radfishy Back before zombies crawled you could use the hatch hallway and fight with just the hatches. They break you repair or back up, but it made melee a viable solution for a few weeks. Then after they made zombies crawl they started squeezing over the hatches. You'd be lucky to use it past day 14.

nice idea , but it can be way better and carry you yo to end game ,if you are open to chance feel free to ask me what can be done different
Don't build this on his open server. Griefers everywhere. If your stuff is not locked? It will get stolen. You had an emergency that caused you to not log in for a week? Expect to come back to nothing except the base.
This isn't meant for PvP servers
@@ReachGaming No idea what you're talking about. Your open server (Not PvP) is what I'm discussing. Bases wrecked, boxes empty.
I am actually talking about the video you decided to comment on. Open servers have a thing called a landclaim block these NEEED to be used and maintained by being online if you aren't online for more than a couple of days the landclaim will expire and people will roam through your base unfortunately
