Yeah it does kinda suck. He barely speaks and when he does it is short and cordial but to the point which I don’t dislike but there could of been some Master Chief like jokes in their that our character says. Dry and Kinda Dark but funny af. Sometimes I wish bungie would let me voice my own character cuz some of the NPC Characters we talk to could use a serious verbal ass whoopin. Honestly I’ve had shit I’ve wanted to say in game since I showed up on the reef for the first time almost 7 years ago. There are so many parts of the story where our character had every right to light into someone and we didn’t. I’ll admit though when you show back up to the reef with the gate lords head back in Destiny 1 that was the moment I knew our characters were the type that carried the “I’m Him” energy. Everything up to that point was not really a threat and felt blah in comparison because you literally wake up from being dead and start wrecking shit but none of the boss type enemies really felt like bosses until the damn gate lord Minotaur.
How exciting that you want to know more about my drawings! I think I do it differently than the official ones, but to reveal the lines, I trace over them with a paint brush in After Effects. Then, the movement of the stroke is keyframed. There is a tutorial about this sort of thing, somewhere, but I cannot find it atm. 👨🦲
