Great work. I agree, whittling should be a simpler carving. To avoid the synthetic look acrylics can have, I water them down and use like a wash. Love these birds.

Wish this was 15 hours instead of 15 minutes 😀. Did you consider giving them a light sand to tone down the colors?

Thanks Nate, that is a good idea, they need a bit of tone off...the camera enhances a bit, but they are still a bit bright...good idea.
