Very good brief on statutory audit of bank branch. Request you to guide further on few points given below:
1. Sir you said that for Inter branch reconciliation, there are provisioning norms. If against debit balance of other branch, if our branch makes a provision, whether the corresponding counter effect of such provision is given in other branch or not. I mean what are the guidelines in this regards Sir?
2. Whether online audit of branch located at a distance is permitted this year or the auditor has to compulsorily visit all the branches for audit? Any guidelines by ICAI Sir?
3. How one cbs software differs from another standard software. Kindly guide us on major differences in different softwares and/or areas of concern for us.
4. Even a forensic audit report can be seen by the statutory auditor? Main point is how to know whether there is any such report during the year?
