The writer Tedd Thomey led me to believe that the girls not only fell below the age consent but suffered violent assaults. He said there was medical evidence showing they were bruised and had their skin torn off. Wouldn't that be a 1st or 2nd degree rape case as opposed to statutory rape? I am not here to pass a judgment on whether or not Flynn was guilty or innocent, it just sounds like Thomey and Betty Hansen have described two different crimes.
