Scottish fan down in nz, keep up the commentary ie what gear your in, stand up sit down, general riding tips. Helping me heaps as I’m new to the sport…. Loving my beta 390 👍
That is a really nice comment to receive thank you very much for watching it means a lot to me that I can help people as well as entertain. I'm always happy to answer any questions over on my Instagram page
that river section was like a trials section and keep up the commentary on what your doing and why it helps us mere mortals out ✌plus that MW bloopers channel sounds like a good idea
Awesome stuff… why did I not see that 7 months ago ??? ! Just ordered a crf300 for the trials. My back to fooked for that stuff… Really did want the 390. But I think not good for road. Great stuff on your video. Hope to meet you again. We did once at Micks. Didn’t say one time ? Can’t remember … to many bumps to the head 😂
@@Motomarsh yeah that’s what heard about them. It’s just arrived. It’s brilliant. Didn’t get on On any dirt roads yet. My brother not ready 😂 So just took him on single track. 35 miles.. it was awesome. He’s wants another do and Micks I think… so might see you there 👍👍👍 don’t know when it will be but hopefully soon… 😃
I'm not sure if it is good or bad but he is falling a lot less these days which is less entertaining for me but it means he is definitely getting better and I like to think I had a little part in that 💪
Keep em coming, love the how to commentary. I’ve been a 2 stroke KTM rider for years but that 390 looks like the real deal. Can you do a long term review and comparison to a 300 Tpi?? 🤙🏻
I'm not sure that's even a fair comparison 😂 the tpi lacks so much ridability from the lack of power down low to the suspension being the worst suspension on the market. Admittedly they can be okay to ride but not without a big amount of money on engine and suspension tuning. In my opinion the beta 2t & 4t come the most competitive out the box. all I did when I got the bike is go down one tooth on the front sprocket like I do with Every bike
It depends what year you're looking at I would suggest 21 and up and definitely get the racing version. For the little extra you are getting alot of forks for the money.
Looks like a cracking ride does that mate. Is that at Micks place? Ive just relocated the regulator rectifier off the steering head of the 390 and its allowed me wind the lock bolts in loads more and give it much more steering lock. Big improvement, worth doing 👍
I've looked at doing this for a while. Where and how did you relocate it? I can't say I have noticed the lock not being enough while riding but more is always better 💪 so I want to do it. If you can inbox me on Instagram or something that would be awesome
I thought of doing the same, first thing I normally do is wind bolts in till forks touch rads, but rode it a few times and never noticed lack of lock. Reg/rectifier gets hot so maybe Beta engineers know what they are doing!!
Would you prefer this Beta 390 over KTM 350 EXCF for this kind of woods riding ? I don't see on this movie that you had any stalling issue with the Beta , what contrary to your testing of KTM 350 EXCF in another of your UA-cam videos . What's your opinion ?
The KTM is okay it's only plus is the engine.. but the beta just handles so much better and the engine is more torquey but not as fast up the top end as the KTM. As for stalling I never have a problem, but the main reason is gear ratio. Every bike comes set to do faster stuff than what I do so I always drop a tooth on the front and it makes technical riding super easy. And if I go to a fast track I put the original front sprocket back on it takes two minutes
@@Motomarsh Thanks for reply ! I had 1,5 year 2016 KTM 350 EXCF and I agree that in the open terrain the engine spins like crazy, however during slow technical riding that engine was so prone to stalling that finally... I gave up and sold it. Before that I had a Honda XR400 for 4 years and didn't experience this kind of problem. Recently I had the opportunity to test the Beta 390 a few times and this bike is much better for me, it really has torque engine and while riding I have not managed to stall this engine even once during slow technical riding in the woods. Seeing your videos , it's just additional reassurance that the Beta 390 is exactly a bike I am looking for to buy for the next year . Thanks for having a time to share your thoughts and excellent videos !
Omg the begining, LOL ! 🤣

It felt like a trail's section 😂 me and gazzy b are talking about pooling out footage together to make a mw Mx crash reel together 😂😂
Another good video with the three amigos ✊

The crf 300 it's a very very good choice for that they are almost bulletproof

"you're fucking stuff up like that man" that's literally how i talk to myself whilst riding 🤣
🤣🤣 every ride
Down in NZ got no tracks like these just clay and sand, just wishing I was there right now.
Thanks for watching bru 💪 on the flip side we don't have terrain like you do. All that matters is seat time on your bike 👌

really need to get a go on a beta one day.. what's good and bad points about them and what years to avoid

the +200 rpm idling map is night and day and impossible to flame out the bike, even with a shitty rider ;) @@Motomarsh
Jaký jezdíte převod? Díky
For normal riding like this I run 12t 49t but hard enduro 12t 51t standard is 13t 49t
