Great group of lads on an own bike day at the Mick extance experience. awesome to be able to share this enduro venue with such cool people.

You most definitely will. Now depending on what sort of riding you are doing I have a few tips to make the bike even mega. If your riding slow hard terrain putting a 12t front sprocket will change your like it's so good. The bike will still reach 65/70 mph top end but on the other end it allows you to crawl very easily without loosing traction or over worked the clutch. I've now done 80 hrs and I haven't even changed wheel bearings just tyres pads and C&S that shows a quality product 👌

Interesting that Beta has softened the KYBs up a bit.
The 21 model Racing Models were fairly harsh for trail riding.
These were literally totally stock not even a clicker and they were lovely. I've gone 5 clicks harder and found a nice midland ground
Looking forward to more of your opinions on this bike. This exact model has been top of my list for a while, but it isn't easy finding info on how it does through technical trails, and other all-roundedness
I find it a dream, little tall in 1st do will throw a 50t on the back but I don't stall it anymore than the 2t in the Tricky stuff.

@@Bischlarbo69 13/50 is IMHO the best compromise. you can even bring a 15th in pocket if you had long backcountries liaisons. No need to change chain lenght and fast swap ;)
I know this is old but I've had the same bike for a year now and only ride technical trails. Does great, just feels a bit heavy compared to a 2t
Haha! Get on your back brake, get on your back brake. Foot continues to dangle in the air. Fast forward 30sec, bike is overturned. It reminds me of riding with my 6yo.

Time off and then the quads makes for a small retraining bit. They are different skill sets with some crossover. Cool vid though

using a moto x bike as a trials bike don't make sense to me, but hey go for it. it will be a blast for sure, the Beta 390s what engine do they have, is it the Chinese Honda clone or the Spanish in house unit, I've read a Honda report on the chinese clones and reading between the lines Honda give them a thumbs up, except for the Ballance crank and the exhaust port isn't bridged, which seems odd.
So the beta 350 and 390 are identical apart from the Conrod length. But all the engines from what I know are Italian stallions made by beta not Chinese. The 4t engine's share nothing with any other company unfortunately. But buy genuine parts anyway, but if you wanted aftermarket stuff you would struggle. All these smaller companies would use semi sharing parts. Like a sherco 300 4t uses a prox KX Conrod but then sherco machine it so you have to buy a sherco rod not an aftermarket kx one. But like I said I don't mind this to much after riding so many years nothing beats genuine parts 💪
Hey mate bit of advice for me. When you’re doing steep hill descents like in those trees are you sitting or standing? Also is it all read brake or small bit of front as well? Is it best to leave in gear clutch out and use the engine too or clutch it in?
So every rider is different bet personally I'm a big rear break guy so I would be breaking hard but not locking up on the rear and lighter on the front. If you only use front break you'll find the forks dive more making any bump harsher but using more rear and little front leaves you more travel and stable. And as for the clutch I guess I feather it if I'm going fast enough I would leave it out but as I slow down to the point of stall nearly I would use the clutch. But some 2 strokes love to stall so sometimes a clutch in and rev has to be added for more confusion 😂

They are so easy to ride. Extreme Enduo is alittle harder but still capable

Hi buddy, it's a close call this one but maybe a 350 is alittle more tamer. But both bikes are really soft power wise so very user friendly

@rob bike looks ace, how does it feel weight wise compared to your 300 smoker …? Much stalling issues in the super tight stuff ?
Can't really tell the weight difference the actually probably weight very similar anyway. No stalling really I use the clutch mainly in the slow. But I will be changing the final drive to shorten 1st

Did you ever get to try the standard edition? I'm torn between the race and standard edition.
I've tried plenty and it depends on your level really if your a novice I doubt you would tell the difference but for me I can feel that the standard suspension isn't as refined as the kyb so personaly I think it's wort the extra money for the racing for the suspension that comes with it 👌

Being fuel injection it's great. Yours will be a carb and they love a drink 😂
Is there much vibration on the 4 stroke compared to the 2 stroke? I had a 300rr and it nearly gave me white finger
Zero vibration on 4t bikes but I think the newer 2t bikes actually have a balance shaft to minimise the vibrations I've rode a few and didn't notice the vibrations but I've ridden an 18 without one and Jesus it was like holding onto a jack hammer 😂

What do you think this bike would be like on a mx track looking for one bike as an all rounder but it's a tough decision?
I have recently raced a sprint enduro that included a Motocross track and I rode it like I would my KX 450 and it handled flat landing everything 😂

I have and it's literally identical apart from the very low power when your lugging. It's even the same size piston just a different crank and rod I believe
