I'm surprised at how similar your scenery looks to a wet year in out state forest here in NSW Australia. the grass, ferns and bogs, just a bit wetter and greener haha. Good stuff!
@@Motomarsh Hit me up if you ever do, I'm near the Victorian border, and east coast, would be too much fun! I'll have to put some video up I think, mind you we're heading into summer now, and a dry one at that. I should really try and get up your way one day.
This is something I'm going to have to fine our it's only 40cc and it's bore is identical just the crank and stroke is different so the best way to test is to own one. I find it hard to jump on a bike for 10mins and decided. Or I find it unfair to do it like that. For instance I run 1 tooth down on the front of most bikes so jumping on one with stock gearing is hard to judge equal... I hope it has tractor mode 😂
Well I actually always alter the gearing for this type of riding I always put a smaller sprocket on the front no matter what bike it makes the technical riding so much easier and mostly on the faster stuff it's still fine at this gearing also.
Idk if you’ve gotten to ride a 350 but the engine characteristics are completely different. That 390 has so much less of a compression ratio compared to the 350. That 350 will want to stall far more than the 390 especially with all the low speed lugging and crawling you guys do.
I've not seen that as a problem yet but I also run a tooth lower on the front sprocket on every bike which helps massively in the low technical stuff. It effects the top end but when on a flat out Mx track I have never run out of Steam so usually leave it like this for everything and in extream races I use the 51 rear aswell 👌
Always love watching you and Midwest back to back when you been running the same outings. Gives such a good overview of the ride.
Cheers mate 👌 it is great to see the difference angle for sure

Awesome guys! What gear n map settings are you using in the first couple of minutes mate?
I always run the aggressive map but run a 12t front sprocket rather than stock 13t
Your making me want to get a 24 390rr and i have a 24 KLX300r ncoming.
The beta rr racing range are just the best on the market at the moment so you won't ever go wrong with onr

@@Motomarsh I'm looking forward to you being the guinea pig! I'm dead set on getting a 390, but I can't help but be curious about its neighbors
The Boys
All about the boys
You will love the 350 on the open stuff but get used to that clutch on the slow stuff. In saying that I love my 350
