V-Cross does look good indeed, some nice bells and whistles, but the LSE 4x4 is the sweet spot, same 3.0L and same super fine 6-speed box. Isuzu did magic with this generation, comfortable for daily city driving (decent fuel chowing for a bakkie), pulls heavy loads without a drop of sweat (as expected), and of course shines on the beaten tracks. Down side though...ground clearance/height, mud flaps tend to scrape the ground once you start doing twisty twists off road (previous Gen never had this issue).

Appreciate your reviews, not like other reviewers that expect the car to look or drive like certain brands they used to
    Keep up the good work🎉
For me the Ford Ranger suspension beats a lot in the market, but this is a looker

wireless charger ,type c usb, blind spot monitoring and 360 degree camera should be there as standard since its the top of the range car . drop the price as well

Great review. So what would you pick between this v cross and an equally spec ford ranger?

I love the Isuzu D-max Vcross but If I have to choose between top spec Isuzu or top spec Hilux, I would go for the Hilux!

The pricing is just too close/the same as some Wiltrak versions, for that reason alone (forgetting the rattling steering wheel, noisy engine etc) there’s very reasons why it would be chosen over the Ranger. Yes it doesn’t get stolen much apparently but ….

Greg, your car reviews are great. I eagerly await your E36 Content in particular because you really inspire me with that car and make me realize that old cars are much more fun and have much more character. I also learn SO MUCH from those videos. Keep doing what you do! I really want a E36 because of you now. Can't wait for the next video in that series of yours! Also great review of the D-Max, thoroughly enjoyed it. In terms of bakkies, I'd have the New Amarok 2.0l Bi-TDI style, Yes it's a Ranger but it looks bigger than the Ranger(maybe an illusion) and I also prefer the styling of it.

ive seen most bakkie reviews and i notice no one ever talks about Navara (especially the Pro 2X/4X) when they are making comparisons. why?

The interior of that car is abysmal just to start . Nissan was just never serious after face-lifting the navara

This or a Hilux... Obviously Nogwaja.. I am not touching a Hilux with a 10ft pole

Something needs to change with car prices, or Chinese manufacturers will dominate the market.

I couldn't agree with you more Greg. For me the D'max is the ideal bakkie combining good tech and reliability.
It offers a lot more features as standard compared to the hilux while being as capable and reliable.
I fail to understand why so few are bought.
The prices of the Hilux on the used market are just rediculous as well. You can get a decent LSE with low mileage for a reasonable amount.
I'd advise buyer's to stay away from the 1.9 though, it's very underpowered.
