Great review as always Brett. 👍👍👍👍 Isuzu have very reliable engines.. Good to see lots of options for consumers in this space. My son loves watching the skids and jumps in these videos Cheers Brett
Great review and insights Brett. Thank you. Couldn’t agree more with your comments on this one as I believe they’ve missed the brief to justify the price.
great review Brett, love the manual hand break (miss it) which allows for sideways opposite lock action (controlled of course *wink*wink* ) , I can see the expert guy stealing for their channel. My issue with the Blade (D-Max), Warrior (Navara) and even Tremor(Ranger) is the use of the base engine, at least Toyota did up power / torque for the GR Sport, it was the same for the SportsCat (remember those?), I was going to say at least with Tremor you could get V6 but then I remembered that its a 4cyl only. It will be interesting to see what Walkinshaw does the Triton version which I think they are doing for them, but again unless the engine gets some upgrade then what's the point again? just buy a Ranger Raptor (ok price is a consideration) as Ford did change it from the standard ranger in nearly everything.
imagine this styling and design language on a semi sport sedan from ISUZU i'd get one in a heart beat. Love the angry design not sure about the specs tho and lack of accessories that should be standard
Geez.. $78K... I'm doin it hard and doin it tough with the cost of Maccas living mate but I'll pay 20% the cost of a three bedroom house for a tradie housewives measly 65kW/t 4 cylinder jacked up 2 tonne Woolies wagon with a useless boot to drive around the outer suburbs impressing my new subdivision neighbours with not slowing down for speed humps maaate. Lookout Bunnings here we come! 16:58 Soft n sloppy pretty much describes the market demographic. 😆
The way they put a CHMSL on the sports bar while blocking the original one on the cab might be a non-compliance of ADR. Not sure how they get away with it... 🤔
Thanks Brett - my goodness $78k for a ‘poor man’s Toyota’ is insane - I love my Hilux SR which I bought during COVId at a bargain price - those ‘rock sliders’ are a poor design and you will easily get gum branches wedged up in the gap which will certainly dent and scrape the lower body panels - they must be ARBs - don’t like the bump steer issue and I wonder if ISUZU have addressed the body tearing issues in the engine bay that plagued the previous gen?
This makes me love my Tremor even more!
those shots with the handbrake turns and wheel articulation are awesome
Great review as always Brett.

I love this channel
Excellent review Brett. Not my 'cup of tea' but appreciate the detailed analysis.
@@brianneely4102 Thanks 👍
Agree about the sports bar. If you tried to tie a cupboard or something similar against it, you'd smash the brake light at the top
Liked at the opening footage
I wonder if it has the new steering knuckles to fix the bump steer.
I thought bump steer was a racing term until I saw tradie wives trying to park.
That's been fixed on all Dmax and BT-50 builds since July 2024

Other then driving over a curb here and there, I reckon 90% of these will never see any proper off-road use
Even 99% of Americans use their ute for towing once a year.
Waiting for your BYD shark review 😊
@@xboxice2005 Was booked in for Feb but pushed back until March now. Keen to test it!

Lol
PLEASE DO A COMPARISO RANGER TREMOR , GR HILUX ,WARRIOR, BLADE
Why are you YELLING AT US!?
Isuzu 💪💪💪💪
78k for that?!!!!. They are having a laugh.
I was like “oh yeah, I guess there could be a market for these.. then you said 78k.. holy shit..

Because ADRs are stoopid regs made by institutionalised pubic servants to justify their own ongoing obsolete department.

I don't like the Isuzu engine the most, the power distribution is quite rough and not smooth, somehow it still has good sales in thailand
Nice. Gls mitsubishi il buy
Despite my appreciation of the reliability of the Isuzu engine fundamentals, this seems like a bad deal.
I agree with you bro not worthwhile for the money
Why are you comparing the dmax and raptor. Dmax reliability. Raptor sucks
I'm sure it's only 76k driveaway
Disapponting poorly placed air take, useless bar, and side steps ready to break, and coloured shocks Isuzu will sell a few a very few at 76k+.
Walkinshaw played Isuzu on this one haha😂
This looks ridiculous, full poofta spec Dmax. They should have gone the route of Rugged X or pro4x warrior. This is embarrassing 😅😅
Looks Ok, apart from those shit stickers some 15 year old kid bought from TEMU
It’s a good Ute but needs a better engine, 10.5 is not quick enough
Isuzu Blade?
What's next, the Hilux Bayonet?
The Ranger 9mm ?
What's going on with this demographic?
😅🤡🤡🤡
You've seen the dual cab buying demographic yea? Maccas drive thru is a good place for that study.
