It amazes me how fast this little featherweight machine can move outside!
I find that cutting power before impact often helps reduce or eliminate crash damage. When I do crash too hard, I often bend the main shaft, as well as the feathering shaft. It was helpful to discover online that the feathering shaft can be bent back without disassembling the head, and even the main shaft I managed to bend back close enough that the vibrations don't affect the gyro. I did remove the main shaft for the process, but am hoping to find a way to do it without removal.
It felt like it had some speed in it! I'm excited to try it outside! I was very surprised that I didn't break or bend anything! Very tough! That's good to know that I might be able to bend it straight when I do bend it. So far I'm happy with this lil micro heli! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Oh yes, finally a video with crashes indoors :) that's what i was seeking for, to see if this heli can handle it. Thinking to possibly buy it :) thanks for the show. As about being too 'pitchy' i believe there could be some settings in the control for that.
So far it seems like it can take the hits, I had some good ones! I believe you're right about the settings helping the pitchyness, I'm going to try and bind it to my DX8G2 so I can adjust even more. Nano vs XK video coming soon! Thanks for watching!
extremely durable, still flying after BIG crash
This seems to be very similar to the v977 which is no longer in production. Glad to know theres a new one. This seems a bit better since it comes with a real transmitter.
Mine does not connect with the remote controller,what should i do ? There is red light on the helixopter blinking but not turn in to blue ,,connected mode‘‘

What values did you settle on for dualrates, pitch and throttle, for indoor and outdoor flying? This thing is wild out of the box.

Not sure yet. I want to bind it to my DX8G2 to it also, I'll try today and let you know! If it can, it will make the upcoming Nano vs XK video a lot more even! 👍
What is the flight time on it with a full charge battery? It is a collective bitch helicopter, correct? I am a newbie at this and I want to purchase this so I can practice on a collective pitch.. any information you can give me that was so kindly appreciate it. Thank you.
