Love the helmets. Are you channel islands did you say? I bet the prices have soared since 70s when things left were nice and cheap! I remember 1991 going to a shop in Brentwood Essex called HILLS SMALL ARMS which had militaria and shotguns. I asked if they had any german helmets. He showed me into a room off of the main shop and said HELP YOURSELF. M35S £75 ,AND M42S £85!! I had a 5 year old and was struggling to buy a house otherwise I'd have bought a dozen. There were camo, snow camo, heer, luftwaffe and kriegsmarine ones just like a real aladins cave. Never find stuff like that again. Many thanks
From Guernsey and wow! pretty incredible that they were that cheap and plentiful. They are just so hard to find these days and are thousands.... Some very lucky people have made a fortune from buying them many years ago, especially SS ones, thanks
Run out of space though! where I live in Guernsey, a small island, space is a premium! the rest of the cubes you see is full of gaming stuff, which is slowly being over run by ww2!
@@steelhelmetstan7305 Jersey has more stuff to do and a bigger town but Guernsey is prettier. Both very small and safe places, but you need to get off and travel a lot or else you'll go crazy!

As much as I love German military in that time, am not a big fan of the SS at all. I do not like them. Good video.
