Named German M40 Helmet and other stuff from a cellar

Been a while now, hasn't it?
So yeah, I decided to get back at something I got good at. Finding nice helmets in the sea of trash you tend to encounter online.
This one I found in Iserlohn, Germany for a very nice price and it is completely untouched.

Yep. Although I would probably call it more of a wood chip camo, as the wood particles are relatively large. COuld also be saw dust though.

Excellent find. As a collector these are like the vw beetle found in a barn with 2000 original miles which belonged to the parish priest in 1960! I am very envious😢

You should find your date on the turtle helmet on the flat metal piece of the head liner

I’m really bummed there’s an estate sale about an hour away from me coming up with a bunch of Japanese items. Helmet, ammo pouches and type 99 with mum and monopod. I can’t get out of work to go buy it all

Ah that sucks, had that often too, or someone sold an original helmet in Germany but it was too far away and they didn't want to ship it..

If it were a reissue, then yes. As this is a camo paint it is a bit more expensive, I sold it for 950€ back in January.
