- Hello Hello,
Welcome to the Renault Twingo RS 133 CUP, this is the hot version of the standard Twingo. The CUP has a stiffer chassis and provides more focus on handling and driver engagement over the standard twingo.
Powered by a 1.6 petrol engine, this car propels to 60 in 8.7 seconds.
A special thanks to my friend Andrew for allowing myself to film his car! Check out his Instagram @peddles96
Thanks for watching & don't forget to subscribe!
6K RPM stone cold start up
That’s my dads exact old car the XY10 DJC he bought it from redline racing in knaresbrough! It had about 33k miles on it!
Wow that's a cool story!! The car is owned by my friend who lives in Edinburgh
Hi Oscar! The Twingo is mine 😁 so awesome that you found the video and cool to hear your dad owned it! It’s an amazing little car!
@@andrewsinclair3131 would you ever consider selling it? ;)
Bought a 2011 today can’t wait 😁
First car aswell 😀
Congratulations! Do you have Instagram to show it?
Nice edit!
well thats not a real cup model as i own one thats a standard 133 with the cup chassis. The real Cup verison is lighter has the twin rear seats replaced with a bench and the doors have silver cup logos on them inside there is no ac not auto headlights and the tinted windows were dropped. But its a dam good car tho but whatever people go for it. It must have a Cup chassis where its a standard one or the official cup its 20x more fun 👍
Not really. There is a sport chassis and a cup chassis that's all. The only differences age 17' wheel instead of 16' and stiffer suspensions.
Maybe you're talking about the rallye version twingo R1
Andrew White hi! It is a cup as, yes it does have the cup chassis and it also has the cup suspension with the little purple dot on them. The previous owner unfortunately removed the cup badges from the doors :( unfortunately I don’t know about the bench seating in the back. It’s an extremely fun car to drive as you say :)
They did a "full fat cup" which had the 17" wheels, cup chassis pack but with split/fold rear seat and aircon.
Andrew Sinclair If it was a proper cup it wouldn’t have the sliding folding rear seats.
Yep i have a proper cup in glacier white. Proper cup cars have rear bench seat no aircon or any fancy extras auto wipers etc. That is a normal 133 with the optional cup chassis upgrade. Normal 133 actually comes with 16inch alloys as standerd. Mine actually says cup on the logbook.
Great video, love the Renault Twingo RS
Cool little cars. I’m sure they are based on the 06 shape clio
I am not too sure what the original platform is?
When did you get the footage
I filmed it with my friend over the winter months :)
CarsofGlasgow 👍
@@CarsofGlasgow I'm sure I recognise the drive over Eaglesham past the windfarm maybe? And the streets look a little like in Mearns? I'm often over there in my RS133 :)
@@georgeclegg9597 Good eye, yeah that is correct hehe :) Very nice! :D

Nice twingo
Honda civic ep2 or twingo rs?
I don't know if sell a great condition ep2 for 5000 to a honda enthusiast guy, I have see a great condition twingo RS red like this for 4000
Nice review mate!
Cheers man! If it was me, I would go Twingo for the rarity. However, the Honda is going to be more comfortable as a daily as this Twingo RS is a little firm and basic inside :)
Nice Renault
