I've just changed from a 2020 Abarth 595 to a 2008 Twingo 133. The twingo has H&R springs and a stainless exhaust, so much fun to drive and imo a much better chassis than the Abarth.
Well, I drove an Abarth 595C on the same day as this Twingo (the review is on the channel), and I think that I preferred this one as well. Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting!
Thank you for this video! I did not know such a model existed! Renault seems to have gone back to their roots in recent decades! You look like you have enjoyed driving this car!
Not been many bad RS models, had a 2003 Clio 172 Cup. Was probably one of my favourites, proper raw hot hatch. No TC,no ABS or aircon! Always fancied a wee Twingo RS as a run about.
They are a bit special, aren't they? I am surprised that these had such a short production run. Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting!
Interesting review I must admit I have a fondness for Citroën/Renault having owned the Xsara and driven the early Clios when they first arrived, also had the Renault 19 for a few years. Yes I've been assured I probably need help 😂
I don't see the attraction with black alloys either. I do like small cars with bigger engines though. They are great for covering distance quickly because of their flexibility whether with better overtaking or maintaining speed on longer inclines. The interior is very nice and parking should be easy enough. I think mainly this should be an intertaining drive that is fun. 5 doors are always more useful though but that is only my opinion.
The Renaultsport Twingo is certainly entertaining, and I am pleased that I had finally managed to try one of these. Parking was indeed quite easy. Thank you again for watching and commenting, sir!
An attractive car in that colour scheme. I am not a fan of hard suspension and I don't think it would be suitable for my large feet on the pedals. Good perhaps for a young driver who can afford the insurance on that model.
I had to move my clutch foot from my usual position to stop it catching on part of the steering column, but I have driven far worse, sir. Very much a younger person's car, I would have thought.
Thanks for the reply. I actually bought this car from Langley Prestige shortly after your excellent review, looking at the mileage. I’m an RS enthusiast and look forward to keeping the car as it deserves for a good while. Thanks again for the review, I’ve linked it on the car’s instagram page 👍
One thing I can say is that UA-cam doesn't really like it if you post links to other sites or videos in the comments section, so perhaps that has something to do with it, but I am not sure... Thank you for watching and sharing the link, glad the video was helpful for you!

Sir, we did enjoy ourselves very much, despite the weather on the day itself...

A excellent and sensible review Sir I am sure Mr Clarkson's Pal Mr Needham will be impressed with this sensible review.
Sir, I am sure that the gentleman in question would been particularly impressed by this example...

I need to try a Renault 19 at some point, to contrast it with the Volvo 460 that I used to own. There don't seem to be many around, though.
Please try a Renault 19 GTS
Only if I get offered one...

Why do my comments keep disappearing? I’m trying to say positive things about this review and car!!
Sometimes the UA-cam algorithm is a complete mystery, I am afraid...
