@@0totech ohhh . Yea I LIKE what those devices offer. The REAL core of what I wanted: Pc power with the game form factor. It’s biggest benefit is TOTAL freedom from the console makers. The Deck is cool, but Valve is no fool. Their not giving you $1800 with of tech for nothing. They don’t specifically say it, but it’s difficult to run games that are NOT from Steam. I’m not the majority of course, but I FIND a lot of games just random places, and I either buy them at super discount or just download them. I notice it’s pretty hard to play games the you may already have on your computer. They make it just difficult enough that it’s easier to just rebuy the game thru Steam. Of course they reward you with the very capable GPU, but that doesn’t make much difference with the games that I find and play. However, the price DOES make a difference. Eventually I’ll find someone with this Aya Neo Next or OneXPlayer , or WIN3 who will be willing to trade me for my Deck….. but until then, it’s in it’s case in slumber

Ok. It's a "Portable Monitor Szory 15" Full HD 1080P Portable Screen". That was the description on Amazon. It's really a cheap one. Paid about 120 USD for it in a sale. Hope it helps. Thanks for the comment.
Bought a GPD Win 1 back in 2016 and have been interested in PC handhelds ever since but only upgraded recently to the Steam Deck once that came out. The leap in both fps/W and fps/$ is just insane due to Valve being able to commission a custom APU and offset some of the production costs with game sales on Steam, which other manufacturers weren't. I was also blown away by how good SteamOS 3 is after first intending to install Windows right away. We'll see if GPD, Aya, Ayn etc. can catch up with the Mendocino and Ryzen 6000 RDNA2 APUs coming soon and SteamOS 3 being released for other devices eventually(still no official date, wtf Valve.). I guess Windows or HoloISO will have to do till then.
I will love windows steam big picture mode but it has steam deck ui. You can kinda do it but it's janky and untill the loki pro delivers it better be ready. This will have 100% Library support insted of the deck. Big picture mode is good but it is the same from the past 8 years and the deck ui looks good.
@@shlokshah5379 Windows might be worth considering at that point but the ui isn't the only advantage, not having a desktop environment and possibly other programs running in the background is a really nice improvement to boot times, RAM and CPU usage and therefore also battery life. Windows will probably only be worth it if your favorite game has issues with Proton.
That's right. The performance leap for the Steam Deck is notable. And even considering it uses less Cores for the CPU part. It's a better compromise for battery life and thermals. Let's see the new devices. I'm allready on queue for the Ayn Loki. I just hope final prices are not as expensive.
