Why would they make an extended height Mophie charging stand for a standing desk? Would the desktop need an extension whether sitting or standing? Great video as always!
Update. After all I went through with OWC they did not post my one star review for their thunderbolt pro dock. If that doesnt prove tyey are corrupt, I dont know what would.
Too many of these products are 3 in 1. A lot of us are heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem but prefer proper wristwatches, instead we want 2x Qi2 chargers, but zero companies make such a product. We want no standard Qi, no watch puck but 2x or 3x Qi2/MagSafe chargers on a device.
OWC has two issues. Their products simply dont work and they continue to ruin their products with their logo plastered everywhere. No one wants their logo lit up or huge in your face. I just finished over a year of customer service issues with OWC trying to get their flagship thunderbolt pro dock to work. We tried four of their docks and found out the design is faulty, dropping out the USB ports immediatly as well as their ethernet port in the back dropping out the internet signal as well as slowing it down. All four docks did this so we proved it was a faulty design. Now their blade which used to have a nice light bar on the front has their damn logo instead! OWC just doesnt get it! Anker makes good stuff but they only use Amazon to ship their products and Amazon is now only shipping in white thin envelopes so everything you get is damaged in shipping.
@@kyb7795 I'm pretty up to date on my tech journalism... but I also don't see you mentioning any rehashed products that are already available? Let's look at what was covered from this event. Matrix -- There are 3-in-1 chargers out there but this is the ONLY one that is actually certified and signed off on by Apple. There is only one other MagSafe battery on the market which is by Mophie. OWC -- Sure, there are other SSDs on the market but OWC is very ahead of the curve with these kinds of compact devices that contain literally 8SSD blades on the inside. Let alone the Thunderbolt 5 dock. Thunderbolt 5 isn't even on many, if any, consumer devices so far. Lockly -- Absolutely the only Apple Home lock that also has facial recognition. Roborock -- Matter is brand new for robotic vacuum cleaners. First couple were announced here at CES this year Aqara -- Very first IR blaster to work with Apple Home. Also only indoor/outdoor lever lock with Apple Home support Meater 2 Plus -- there are other connected probe-style thermometers but the others do not have multiple zones on a single probe Abode -- First security camera to use Wi-Fi HaLow long-range Wi-Fi Mophie -- Qi2 launching here at CES Ecovacs -- Again, Matter enabled. Plus the combo robovac plus stick vac ESR -- Qi2, brand new releasing at CES Scoche -- QI2 Anker -- yup, more Qi2. All be released for the first time. No Qi2 device was available before CES 2024.
Great round up! Pepcom really was the best event this year, I’d argue it was even better than the Venetian show floor
Anker showing why they're so popular, as always. That small travel 3 in 1 looks very interesting.
It all looked cool to me. Not too big on the robovacs. The Anker chargers were pretty cool!
2024 GONNA BE AMAZING
Audio was fine to me…

great review! much better than those from CNET
I’m really digging the new Roborock vac!
Any word on what resolution that Abode Wifi camera is going to have? I'm guessing only 720p since that long-range Wifi is pretty slow.
The ecovacs combo is gonna be sick

man the audio is so bad; turn it up!
It's sounds fine on my end.
2024
Low Audio!

I’m never buying anker again ugreen and Baseus is my pick
q.i. chargers and robovacs... no progress made this year
That’s what I thought. We’ve hit peak tech!

He legally cant cover windows laptop 💀
From what I have seen so far, including esewhere, CES this year looks completely underwhelming.
Are you sure it's 2024 ? Nothing new look like it's 2018 ! No new inventions
A lot of these are just trash or theyre third party rehash from a name brand that done it already.
Can you give me a single rehash from someone who already did it already? I believe many if not all of these are firsts.
@@AppleInsider you are either simply defending your video or if not you are not up to date with tech journalism
