Lots of VR headsets are great Apple products as they can play Apple's Spatial Video right now for much less than the Vision Pro will cost. Hugh Hou's channel has guides.
They’ve put cameras on the Air 2 Ultra. That’s the Apple Vision dead in the water. Without the front cameras they are amazing. I also notice they have mag lenses for prescription users. My clip on ones for the Air 2 were silly expensive.
I had my concerns about this as well. I started late with magsafe charging so the USB-C pass-through is fine since I have a desk charger with different types of usbs.
I think better enhancement of mouse would be if they would add joystick/analog-stick of Playstation on side of mouse. (Where your thumb rests) Plus haptic feedback. Imagine playing game, you can move forward, backward, sideways with analog. Or you are designing 3D model in CAD, mouse giving x-y plane access, and analog providing z plane. Same with editing video or drawing stuff in 3D.
I did like how easily it comes off and can be swapped for something else. Maybe use this during the day while working and then use a different case when going out for social stuff. It is designed for creators, not your average person.
You mean this that we covered back in December? appleinsider.com/articles/23/12/28/operation-triangulation-exposes-advanced-imessage-attack-on-security-firm
The Clicks keyboard is cool but not without MagSafe, not at $139, and not without the ability to use different connectors (USB C/Lightning) without buying a whole new case. And the colors suck.
That’s my thing. I wouldn’t buy this version but I really like it. Especially when I’m doing a ton of mobile creation like CES week. A new model with MagSafe could tempt me though!
I’ll give it to you, everything in this video is pretty lame, but the displays at CES this year were increadible… Not all is cheap junk, just what’s in this video 😅
Hmmm... I dont think much of this is "cheap junk." I mean seeing chargers going up to 300W is crazy, being able to roast your own green coffee at home in like 8 minutes is insane, a magnetic machined metal SSD for your iPhone and ProRes video is so smart, or maybe a wireless thermometer that can withstand 1000 degrees of heat as well as submerging in water is impressive! It may not all be stuff you're interested in and I specifically am not showing off the crazy stuff like transparent TVs, VR goggles, or iPhone-driven tractors that seem more impressive.
The people excited for that qwerty keyboard case would lose their shit if they ever handled a tmobile sidekick back in the day.
rip Blackberry
It’s also 140…
No MagSafe so no.
I had one.

I haven’t had a Mophie case since the days of my iPhone 4s. No pass through charging is a real miss though. Definitely will consider picking this up.
There's passthrough charging with the USB-C port, but no MagSafe passthrough charging which is the bummer for me.
I had my concerns about this as well. I started late with magsafe charging so the USB-C pass-through is fine since I have a desk charger with different types of usbs.
Comprehensive summary. Thanks. Eliminates the need to watch a ton of other reports if primarily interested in Apple related products.
Great round up!! Thank you

nas holders are pretty expensive.
What happen to the prices.
Everything got 3cx the price over the past 10 years.
Why.
So many inventions even in a small way helps❤❤
I like the keyboard for the iPhone. Because phone the needed to be heavier and bigger than it is now
I did like how easily it comes off and can be swapped for something else. Maybe use this during the day while working and then use a different case when going out for social stuff. It is designed for creators, not your average person.
Clicks for president
Was expecting so much more Matter-compatible smart home devices. Nothing really that exciting this year! Bummer 😕
How come you guys haven’t covered the Backdoor in iOS that was found recently. Steve Gibson in security now podcast 955 talked about it.
You mean this that we covered back in December?

Thanks for the link. Crazy how this story has just go no traction and nobody is talking about it.

I’m getting rid of my iPhone because I’m tired of not having a back button
Lol that keyboard is so stupid
Beamo!
Doesn't surprise me that Apple users would be tickled by 10-year-old technology. Essentially just go buy an old blackberry and you'll be happy. Lol
Is this what CES has become?!?
This all looks like cheap junk that’s already been done.
You made that up.

Who tf wants to carry a remote brick on their pocket? It’s not even magsafe compatible.
