Vamos Rafa !

Knowing Nadal will play with Zverev in the first round RG 2024, back to watch this video that makes me tearing again. So inspirited with Nadal's spirit. Hope Nadal will again.
You know it's coming still sends chills down your spine when it finally happens 😢. IMO, only Djoker & Alcaraz can have reached that level of attrition on court; Zverev needs to get back to that level.
Even though Nadal made that crazy clutch first set comeback, it still looked like there was NO way zverev was gonna be beaten that day. One of the most unlucky injuries in history
He was going to, he choked in the second set also and in the little game, Rafa is so much better than him (drop shot, counter drop shot, slice), which would(ve killed Zverev.
Besides djokovic, THIS version of zverev might be the only player I’ve ever seen actually OVERPOWER Nadal (with Nadal actually playing some of his best tennis) on clay in the long rallies. Nadal had that clutch factor in the first set though, but it still seemed like zverev was going to win. Would’ve been an all time great match though I think
Nadal was nowhere near his best, his forehand was totally ineffective due to the extreme heaviness and his backhand cross-court was unbelievably short, especially for his standards. That is the worst semi-final he's ever played here and Zverev choked.
I think after a set who plays over 1 hour should ATP change the rule- and give the player 8-10 minutes recovery break. I mean we still playing today with a rule, where making before a long time where the sport was not to physcaly like today, the same also for long services game also, insteed 1 minute break should be 2-3 minute break, I cant imagine what would happends when zverev get not injury and how long would goes this match far
what many fail to realize is that this was one of the worst conditions for Nadal at RG...cold and dump. Balls were heavy and the court was low bouncing and slow. His FH couldnt penetrate the court. This highly favored Zverev who still managed to go down 1 set. Under any other conditions, Nadal would have been dictating plays with his FH. Watch the final Match against Ruud or QF against Nole and see the difference in his shot penetration.
There was no problem for Nadal playing in RG against a one hand backhand rival (Wawrinka, Thiem, Federer…). The things changed a lot when he had to face in the same scenario guys like Djokovic, Nalbandian or Zverev, tall, strong and with a wonderful two handed backhand. Then Rafa had to put all his will, intelligence and technical ability to win
It is without a doubt the best unfinished match ever

This is one of these matches you can never forget if you lived it wether in real or not. Everybody would have loved to see the ending of this uncertain result.
Tomorrow he will be playing Medvedev in the AO'24 semi-final - what a fantastic comeback!! Auf gehts!!
😂😂😂😂
The fact that this match wss over 3 hours long
In today's match against Alcaraz at the ATP finals, Zverev fell and it looked like a replay of this horrific injury...
He needs to work on his lateral movement. These Spaniards know how to expose weaknesses in that regard
Today against Alcaraz at AO as well 😅

I mean, the dude is nearly 6'6.
Two years later Zverev won a couple of Clay tournaments leading into the French
Nadal at Roland Garros is a work of art, poetry in motion. The Mona Lisa of sports.
Brillant play by Nadal and Zverev!!!
Vamos Rafa !
09:10 is such an incredible point (on Set point!!!)
Sascha has to win Both Sets
True. He was superior
Erinnert an Stich damals. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Weiter so!!! Du spielst mit das geilste Tennis
That 1st set explains why Nadal is the King Of Clay 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 & 🏆
9:21, just ridiculous stuff by Rafa, only he can do this on a tennis court, incredible...
Knowing Nadal will play with Zverev in the first round RG 2024, back to watch this video that makes me tearing again. So inspirited with Nadal's spirit. Hope Nadal will again.
Turning point of the set and the match 9:14. It could have been set down to NAdal. Incredible point!!
You know it's coming still sends chills down your spine when it finally happens 😢.
IMO, only Djoker & Alcaraz can have reached that level of attrition on court; Zverev needs to get back to that level.
stop comparing that joke alcaraz to the goat 🐐
this could be the match of entire tennis history ...💔💔
Would’ve been an all time great match though I think
its cause the roof was closed, ball doesnt jump off the court like Rafa loves, made it easier for Sascha to hit
Nadal was nowhere near his best, his forehand was totally ineffective due to the extreme heaviness and his backhand cross-court was unbelievably short, especially for his standards.
That is the worst semi-final he's ever played here and Zverev choked.
Craziest unfinished match !
so good to see old Rafa back in this match. Treat to watch.
zverev was throwing fire ! it could be a 6/7 hours long match !
I think after a set who plays over 1 hour should ATP change the rule- and give the player 8-10 minutes recovery break. I mean we still playing today with a rule, where making before a long time where the sport was not to physcaly like today, the same also for long services game also, insteed 1 minute break should be 2-3 minute break,
I cant imagine what would happends when zverev get not injury and how long would goes this match far
No se lesiono x cansancio, se tropeso
@@angelpacheco8937 i know, but the atp should still change the rule
what many fail to realize is that this was one of the worst conditions for Nadal at RG...cold and dump.
Rafa at roland garros is what taker is at WrestleMania they where rarely see defeat...its there yard
Zverev was playing unbelieavable tennis but it's crazy that he did not win the first set after so much opportunities. Always catch up by his demons
Z's tennis skills at this time worth at least three RG trophies...Oh we forgot his mental strength
His last name Zverev comes from the slavic word ZVER which literally means BEAST he was indeed really a beast in this game
Zev gave Nadal hell in that match. It could have gone either way. Great match it was
9:09 This point is ridiculous
The match was a closed roof. Nadal's topspin wasn't kicking up high off the red clay like it would under the sunny bright skies.
