Hello my friend! When you are injured just train light. For me to become good you do not have to bounce too much, only when necessary. Also I try to stay loose and relaxed as much as possible. This helps create natural movement that will not hurt the joints.
I believe I got small for everything. The top is kinda snug, so I’d size up next time for the top, but for the pants stay true to your size. I am 5’7 145lbs.

I’m 5’7 140 lbs. I got a small for jacket and a small for pants. If you like more room for the jacket go with a medium.
