Hey guys thanks so much. I left out an important step. She added the leaves to milk and strained it. Pulled it out. I’ll show in the next video. Sorry about that.
I appreciate the caveats you raise at the beginning of your video. These African cultures have developed immunity against diseases that Westerners are so afraid of. 😢. ES, I appreciate your acceptance and maturity through it all. Most Westerners would consider the process as unsanitary. But as you alluded to earlier, the people have longevity vis a vis Westerners so who are we to pass judgement? Keep enlightening us.
Back in the early 1960s, the annual Summer stays on my grandparent's cattle farm in the Mississippi Delta, we had these Guinea Fowl roaming around. They were our breakfast buddies, providing us with their eggs for devil eggs, cakes, and even hair care. Our farm was pretty rustic, with wild goats, outdoor toilets, and rainwater-catching tubes. And when it got dark, we relied on good old kerosene lights. But you know what? We didn't need all those fancy modern amenities. The lack of infrastructure was actually the best part. It taught us about true happiness and the simple joys of life. Trust me, there's something magical about living off the land and embracing the simpler things. DIY House & Farm thank you for sharing!
The way you intermingle with the local just made me put more respect on you.The local will treat you as queen with much respect. The Fulani kids are so cute, especially the beautiful girl sat next to you she seems to admire you.❤❤
Taking a look at how happy the locals are in their culture, how beautiful and just about flawless their skins and texture appear, without man-made props, should be convincing enough for the honest impartial eye.
His was very educational. I love experiencing different cultures through your videos. Ghana has such a diverse country with the different groups of people 😍 thanks for sharing
I’ve traveled the continent with this recipe tonight and it’s a seamless connection all the way around. First I watched the recipe on making Ethiopian Ayib making, then I watched Nigerian Fulani northern Nigeria making Wara, and then finally ending with this beautiful, inspirational and educational video of Ghanian Fulani making Wagashi. May Allah continue to bless our motherland and the knowledge within it.
Wow!? Such strength in these women, it's a great big Task in it self to prepare the food? Take of the children, fetch water? Collect fire wood, harvest the greens, it's a lot. It is a full Time responsibility. As I watch her use that stick to pound up the herbs, I am sitting here Thinking FOOD PROCESSOR, zap it it's done. I commend these women for their strength and patience. Wow that's a lot.whew.
Greetings Vinman and ES ! I learn something new everyday watching your channel. I'm quite sure I'm prolli older than you both, which means I may THINK I know a few things. 😄 I do understand that most things I believe I know are null and void in Africa, and many other countries as well. So, when I visit Africa, I'll come as a empty vessel. Looks as though the people there have patience in every aspect of their lives. I love cheese, and that process takes TIME. 😮 As you know just about everything is instant here in the U S. I'd trade organic , generational custom cooking that takes time , over the processed , instant cooking anytime. I enjoyed this edifying vlog. #loving the colorful clothing of the women & children
This was so interesting watching the process. Can we appreciate her upper body strength, she didnt break a sweat. Prayer before working, a virtuous woman. Is the color blue symbolic in Fulani culture, as she adorned her head, jewelry and the childrens clothing? The women walking through the village carrying there baskets was a lovely. ES you are so good at opening the viewers mind to how the world works and what they can experience with an open mid. You are a gift, thank you and Vim man for sharing a journey most will never experience.
Now THAT was an “experience”…. And such a satisfying process to watch the making of cheese… 👀 Wow… what a “traditional moment”… @ mark 21:48… those women sitting in a circle “haggling”… then… in passing… 4 women in a line… carrying bundles on their heads… I loved that scene… it was rich in language… in colors…. in village life… Wonderful footage 👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 ❤ from NY
@@flattery1111 I beg your pardon ! We are vulnerable by nature ?? I am a woman, I do lots of things that men do. Example : I do tile, wall and floor, mixing of cement, paintting and fixing wall papers. I do wood works too and oil paint. I do a lot more and my garden gives me pleasure after my hand work. I trim my hedges by myself and tidy up my garden. I do all these with great pleasure because it gives me joy, and its fulfiling. If women want to have equal right to men then there should not be a reason to complainning in my opinion.
I love the process very natural and organic. I would only not use the plastic sieve with hot water and use a metal sieve instead. In my opinion I would prefer dam water to the processed water in those sachets they call pure water as often unknown additives are added to the water presumably to keep it fresh inside the enclosed plastic sachet. Just filter the water from the dam and boil if it makes you feel more comfortable 🙂
I love the natural environment and the gift of nature the peace and love that comes from neighbors and the ingenuity that comes from being oneself nothing beats that. Back to the roots. Thanks for sharing this experience
Thanks for raising that caution. People must understand different doesn’t necessarily mean better or worse. Learn to be fluid and if you just don’t get it - release it and trust that we are all doing what we think is best for us.
Wow looking at the milk. It's what we called clabber milk we didn't do the cheese thing but it it was great with corn bread 😁😁 some country people might know what I'm talking about it's great for cooking as well
Hi E.S.,I like the sites and sound it sounds relaxing and I love seeing the different foods you make, selfcare is the best care, enjoy your journey, all love🤎🙂

You did a VERY GOOD JOB with your disclaimer about cultural differences with regard to health and food standards. When I am there I too have learned to suck it up and not judge. How amazing to embrace the Fulani tribe. In Nigeria, they are feared instead of seeing the good, people focus on the bad. Well done
The Fulani tribe in Northern Ghana are not Ghanaians. they come fron Mali and the surrounding countries

The issue with the western world is: everything have to be grouped in a box
Good luck in getting out of their box 🤣
The western seem to be more strategic making them rigid
While Africans are more out of the box
Free flowing without being rigid
Everything have its place in life
Also good and bad in both 😂
Regardless of what the mainstream say
There are those in Africa that prefer the mud-hut life style with little to nothing materials
That's what they like and who are we to tell them otherwise 🤨
If they're not happy with that life style they can always more to the cities
Similar to European hippies 🤨
Most hippies prefer the hippie life style and who are we to say otherwise 🤨
