In the RP Luffy game you would have lived had you kept the Tama and Limejuice in hand. If you pulled the Whitebeard thing of leaving 5 Don up for the 2 Redhawks and the Rad beam you had 20k worth of counter. No matter what numbers your opponent went you weren’t dying, unless they have Nika. At that point, if they had it, they had it.
it wouldn´t matter, Roger made the blocker useless all the same because he was at 0 life and if opponent blocked anything he would lose. When you have 0 life (or opponent) and you know he can´t counter his way out of your attacks and his best hope is a blocker, you play it first to shut it down completelly and swing away.
The idea of the list is interesting but I don´t really like marco and ace on it. Sure, Marco can K.O something at the beggining and Ace is hard to remove, but Marco will lose it´s charm when you start facing characters 5k+ and Ace will be just sitting pretty there for a turn while you get beaten up. I think Lucky Roux works better since it can K.O a 6k or less when it is K.Oed and it is a blocker (which is neat for shanks that wants to stay healthy for his big 10 don plays) and Yassop does come in handy in throwing the opponent off his math because now he has to swing on a 6k leader, both cards give you a lot of defense to stay good untill you can chain shanks back to back. It is a more clearable table for the opponent, sure, but if his dons are being spent in nifty plays to clear your board, he isn´t really going to be aggroing your life beyond what you can guard yourself until Morias start to rain in and when they do, if you have the proper removal/aggro by hand, it still won´t put you on the danger zone too fast. But those are pretty much the only changes I would make to the list, rest is very nice =)
One of the reasons I love shanks is how many different ways to build him! This build is much more focused on countering black decks with the Marco and ace. If you wanted to focus more on countering decks like purple Luffy or doffy, luck roux and yasopp are definitely better picks for those matchups 👊
i think i gonna max the blocker rayleigh. just because i only have 3 8c rayleigh and im not gonna buy another one at this price right now. or maybe 1 more event?
What you should have done in the shanks mirror was burst him down with a 10k swing from leader and 11k swing from shanks to get him down to 0 and set up Rayleigh blocker and then put all the don on shanks or swing 11k, 15k leader to win.
It was too risky to go 15k after he took the 11, with 2 don open and a ton of cards in hand. Could easily have been rad beam rad beam and a couple counter cards to get out of it. I think 11 then 8 was fine, leaving 2 up for the rad beams. We would’ve lost to Roger but it is what it is

True! Probably should have done that 👍 thank you for the advice
You forgot about Limejuice! You could have deactivated his Shiki blocker to go for game :)

I had a skill issue 😂 u right
@@GGWyzzyRoger was not in hand or in play at the time of this situation. Thank you for your effort but I am very familiar with its effect.
@@agre3202 oh, mb, could swear it was when he used roger.

Prices on rayleighs are pretty crazy yeah :/ you could also try a 7c Newgate?
@Marinefordtcg idk. Only 3 blocker feels weird and unsafe. But i try it
Would love to see a deck list. Unless I just missed a video with the list?
You can see the Shanks vs Doffy finals match he covered, there it shows the list.
List is right at the end of the video! 41:00
Is there a decklist?

You could have wait another turn to Close the game in the mirror because you had like 20k of counter in Hand
