Target and Walmart will always be the cheapest but good luck finding them there. Where I live we have a small army of scalpers camping out every week to scoop up anything valuable to resell at insane prices, so I haven’t seen a single pack of OP cards the past 2 years.

All the bigger towns and cities are selling packs for 13-20$ and the boxes with multiple packs are usually like 50-70$ it’s insane.
The fact that someone who doesnt even know the vast majority of the characters places or events hes pulling can get ahold of this set infuriates me to no end

Some probably will play them just to show them off, but I think they know most would keep them in a collection or sell them off. Not everyone plays the game either. I only collect them (although I am interested in playing it too, I just feel weird about being a 42 year old dude getting into his first card game with all these youngsters. I know I shouldn’t but there we are)

The new game is very much in the mold of One Piece including pull rates. The twist with Fusion World is that the SRs are textured and very nice. alt arts are a bit muted, comparatively.
