  • In today's episode of Hoya of the Week, I present to you a Hoya with one of the most stunning flowers, at least in my opinion. It always makes me happy to see the flowers of this one, and I think despite it being very close to some other species, the coloration makes it very unique. What do you think?

Honestly, is there anything better than Hoya of the week? I think not.🥰. Such a gorgeous plant and like you, I find the darker green leaves to be very beautiful. The blooms for this plant are awesome! Many thanks for sharing your tips and information with us! Take care. 👌🪴🥰

I bought this Hoya in April rhis year because of the blooms. But I love the leaves!! It is in a chunky mix. I live in the northeast in the US, we are having extreme hot humid weather and my house is around 80-85 and she is putting out new growth. Thank goodness i have a air conditioner in my upstairs bedroom. Lol Thanks for the lovely video.😂

This was great for me for a bunch of reasons. Explaining the mystery of the UT...I tried finding out what that was about and now I get it. No botany in my history. And thanks for the Farenheit! This one likes the sticky warm heat and she is pretty. I'll be on the lookout. You are expert.

I grow this one just out in the house in Alberta, Canada, during the winter it doesn't get a huge amount of light and ambient humidity is something awful like 30%, and it's still fine! Temps go down to 17C at night and it doesn't mind, though doesn't grow fast. I grow in a chunky mix and water roughly once a week depending on the season. In my opinion it's an easy keeper that tolerates different conditions. Oh, and it bloomed for the first time in June.
    It's a great hoya, I recommend it a lot.

Can I request a vid for Hoya schneei? I cant find anyone talking about it and mine almost died coz of root rot. I was able to save it really early on since the leaves looked sad and my anxiety told me it's overwatering and deym it was indeed so I threw them cocochips out and went for pumice and a bit of coco peat. It's doing fine now but I really can't find more info about it.

Purchased this on Etsy as Hoya rigida and the seller posted pics of these flowers that they claim flowered from their garden.

      H. rigida is very similar too, but I don't have that species. I don't think UT033 has been identified as rigida though.

Beautiful plant Miro! It looks completely different than the ones I’m seeing on Etsy currently.. Your leaves look plumper and shinier.. I would get it if I knew I could make it look like yours, but my conditions are cooler and dryer here unless I put it in my grow tent which I don’t have room for right now.💚🌞🪴
