***** DRONES FOR FISHING? ***** Quick way to find fish. (carp fishing)

- I have always been interested in why people use drones to find fish, so I take my own drone to the sky's to see if I can spot the carp quick and effortless.This is a bit of technology that I'm not sure if I agree with in terms of finding fish but I can now see why people use them.

Each to their own. The traditionalists are welcome to keep fishing the way they do, just stop looking down your noses at people willing to give different things a try.
Technology and techniques moves on. 35 years ago bite alarms were non existent and people were using washing up bottle lids as bobbins. Any advantage I can use, I’ll take. Especially if it saves the dreaded long session blank.

As a disabled angler (wuhan flu) i am happy to use technology to make my fishing easier.
Anything to give you an edge mate! End of the day, we go fishing to catch fish. If you can find an easier way to do that why wouldn't you use it?! 🤙

ive carp fished 20 years, never owned a bait boat for the same reason many wouldn't buy a drone.
the lake i fish this time of year is 80% mine and finding fish on the short sessions i do can be impossible somedays, im looking to have quick fun and get a run, seriously considering buying a drone as lots of lake inaccessible from banks.
i think these things like boats have a use, if you find it fun and dont piss off others and i mean really piss em off, not just people looking to moan at you then have fun doin it, catch a fish how you like to catch it.
Id like to get one but worry id end up losing it in the canal or the tidal. But i think its a great idea
May I ask what editing tool you use and where do you get your music from , Im just starting out and want to get into this, this crap time is a good time to learn

I don't think technology is ruining the sport anything to increase your chances of getting one is worth it I mean you can sit there on a 48 hour session and blank the thrill of the fight is what we love about it
people who moan cant afford them or not allowed them (wife) its a no brainer. why climb a tree or push a barrow round a lake when u can both search the whole water and check what pegs are free without leaving the car.

use the mavic to put ya bait out find fish with sounder and put ya rigs out i been doing it for 5years were bait boat ban exist
No, still have to catch them, the same thing was said when the first fish/depth finders came out. Here is the US many non anglers considered it cheating. LOL just because you can see them or find them doesn't that they will be biting.
I think they definitely have there place in modern angling along with deepers and such and even the addition of baiting poles are sometimes frowned upon as it’s not casting blah blah , just do what ever is needed in my opinion let’s face it some lakes allow boats for baiting and dropping off rigs !!! is that cheating ?? And what if that’s are not trees to climb or your unable to physically climb a tree , to many people worried about what everyone else is doing these days ..... just worry about your own fishing 👌🏻

Yeah 4 days ago i said we climb trees for a better view. Never used one myself (drones). But we look at old gravel pit pics to see bars etc... times are a changing, ( so Bob) so does the tech for fishing, deeper, casting go pros?? Other camera stuff even are home made spods r spoms, catapults, throwing sticks, air bombs, even binoculars. I had a drone which i sold, but never used for fishing, but its still with new owner if i need to borrow it for local bigish!!! Pit. No trees tall enough to see that far out. Its just progression, and that's coming from someone who would still prefer to make my own bollies and years ago was devastated when the box told me they dont sell un prepared hemp anymore!!!! WTF!!! Parents then girl friends used to go mental at me for bait making in the kitchen. Now we can get our mixes made for us. Time is getting shorter and tighter, i see drones as a form of time travel. A year on the marker float can be a couple ov days with a drone. Still don't like bait boats. If you can't cast there perhaps you shouldn't be fishing there!!!!!? I don't know. I do know id rather watch a free lined bait in the edge be taken , than wait for my receiver to tell me ive a bite whilst drinking green tea away from my rods, or watching eastenders on a ipad etc... can ov cider hiding the shiny bottom ov the can, smoke in other hand. Tree branch sticking in your ear, stinging nettle stings being the norm. No pretty "pegs" swims with names not numbers, dead dog, no carp corner to many classic names . Sorry ranting fucking lockdown!!!🍻

Check that it is legal to fly first, and get permission were needed Not too many laws to stop you. The no nos are flying within certain distances of dwellings and structures. The drone must always be inline of sight, so do not fly solely on the camera like this chap seems to have done. Check local airport no fly zones, especially if you are inline with the run way. You have to be miles away to be out of the zone. Get caught flying in this zone its a big , big fine. As to whether I would use one ? Getting to the point where you might as well just tie a rig to a bait boat.
Some people will say it's good idea and some will say it's cheating everybody is different tbh I don't think I'd use one
