do the slip rings need to be installed a certain way? when connecting the wires?

@tunbun660 what's best way to determine which is top ring wire, and lower ring wire?
I assume you would use your multimeter to see which lead goes to which ring.@@megason2
youn didnt say which wires went were sence both wires are same color. the slipring doesnt even tell you which wires which .
I don't think it matters as the current is AC at this point. The rectifier turns it to direct current later.
