I am 82. So I don't really need more math courses at this time. I never got a college degree but I did take some college math courses and I worked for a government agency that had an excellent advanced technical training program. So, I ended up with Algebra, college algebra, pre-calculus, trig and analytical geometry. But no Calculus. I had to work at math, although I did get good grades. It never came easy to me. So I have always been interested in math although not especially good at it. I ran across your youtube channel just by browsing. I am so impressed by how clear you make these concepts. Anyone who had you for a math teacher was very lucky. It occurred to me how fortunate homeschoolers are nowadays compared to a decade or so ago.
You are a ABSOLUTE ROCKSTAR!!!!!!!! I’m writing Math 04/04/2024. This is the last subject I need for the GED and I’m terribly nervous!!!! I WANT TO THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR THE EFFORT YOU PUT IN HERE !!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for the examples about how it doesn't mater if you x2-x1,y2-y1 or x1-x2,y1-y2. a lot of the free tutors don't clarify that like you did. you saved the day today for me.
I love your way of teaching. This helped me tremendously as I am in an 8-week course in college and am not given enough information to truly understand what I am supposed to do. I hope your courses include college math because I am going to need all the help I can get! Thank you so much for this video!
I am here for the same reason, I find that my daughter's course material doesn't provide her with enough information to get an understanding of the concepts.
Your in college I’m in grade 10 and there teaching me this but there not giving me the right materials in my Classera account funny how this world has come to online learning sad really
@@abood9140 I'm now in my second 8-week class and it is completely different (better). It all depends on the teacher. I hope things get better for you and don't let this current situation get you down. Life is faithful to give us something negative but its up to us to focus on the good. :) I hope you have a blessed day!
i have had his paid subscription and i know how he teach, his name is Jason this guy was a rocket scientist in NASA and left the job just because he wanted to make maths and science easy for students like me, Jason i wish i could meet you and thank you in person regards Just a student
...and follow you I will. Thank you for your UA-cam service. Subscribed! And this is *IMPORTANT*. I am taking prealgebra to complete a requirement for my credential. Your explaination of mathematics is so clear that I plan to check in and keep up my learning. I invested in one math class this semester, for one purpose. But the HOURS, upon HOURS, I have been sitting here, struggling on some days, has made me committed. I refuse to forget anything I worked this hard to grasp.
💯Woow,i'm in my forties and i like to say thanks somuch for these great step by step explanation with historical concepts why the use of the letter "m" , Presently attending a GED class where my teacher didn't go into details this way when it came to slopes as she just went straight by drawing the slopes, and i didn't understand and had many questions but i didn't want to be the one asking too many questions in class so i don't look like the dumb one, But i found my worries and questions answered in your video, thanks somuch- from here in New York city. Already subscribed!
Thank you! My materials are waay too vague. They don't EXPLAIN anything. My materials just give plots on the line and ask for equations or answers to equations. You are amazing! I understand now.
thank you so much TwT i'm in the 8th grade and we're doing this and i've had a hard time understanding how to find a slope. Thank you for taking the time to break it all down.
You are a wonderful professor, but if you told us what all this means in life, it would be much more wonderful. we need different life examples to understand them, for example in rocket launches and cars running, or perhaps in mechanics or electricity. This will help us more.
At 16:55 he shows why it is called neg. edit: absolute value is 3, but - indicates which way the line slopes. Watch it a few more times, you will understand before long. Edit: start watching again at 27:30
could it be that 'm' is for 'matrices' ? which can be used to plot a slope? i realize i could just look it up but I place alot of value in checking organic ideas before just googling them.

Well this is a “part 1” video and there are follow in lessons. You can’t cover Everything in one single video, otherwise I would continue on pass these topics in to the basis of calculus which also depends on the slope equation.

This is probably the best explanation of the slope formula with corresponding graphs that I've ever seen. Thank you so much!
I have watched a lot of videos, but they did not work.
Finally, I watched your video it help me a lot.
Thank you so much.
My godness this man is the greatest teacher in the world i swear !
This is goog stuff!
Those students have a lot of resources so that they could dominate mathematics/algebra!
That was my favorite in high school!
Thanks so much for your time. You should have more likes. I’m giving you a million likes. Blessings

Awesome thanks so much!
I agree. I'm watching for free now, but when the time is right I'll be a paying student as well.
teacher assigned your vids since we're on corona-break. good material, thanks

What Avery good teacher I wish I have a teacher like you in my high school time
The super best slope explanation i have ever seen✅
perfect nice explanation, I learned a lot
Thank you ...... Your vdos always help my kids.
When "the functions" topic came again from the 8th grade, I'm the 10th grader: YYEEEEYYY, I UNDERSTOOD what slope really is. Thank you;;----;;
You are a Legend, sir, the best math teacher out there!
This guy is the best teacher.
Thank you, man. I really mean it.
Hey you are welcome. Good luck in your studies!
Me too
You are an amazing teaching. God bless you real good.
Your explanations always make it easy for me to understand! You break it down in ways I understand. Thank you!
Super nice guy. Thank you for sharing sir.
I'm with you. Hello my fellow scientists
You are a great teacher
If you were my teacher during my highs school days, I would have been a doctor by now. That is for sure.
You are genius!

Yea, that would be me Eee Aww Eee Aww. I learned Sin & Cos from him, now this is Tan.
Best teacher
So happy you liked it!

Nice Explanation Dear Sir
You are a wonderful professor, but if you told us what all this means in life, it would be much more wonderful. we need different life examples to understand them, for example in rocket launches and cars running, or perhaps in mechanics or electricity. This will help us more.
Hello sir please make a video about concept of calculus thank you
Thank you so much
Thank you
I failed math ged because I didn’t understand these …. But I think I have a better understanding because of you
Good job, but I have a question. On the first example; why the slope had a negative value (-3) while it should have a positive value ?
At 16:55 he shows why it is called neg. edit: absolute value is 3, but - indicates which way the line slopes. Watch it a few more times, you will understand before long.
Edit: start watching again at 27:30
I think you should explain all the topics in Math, you are just too good the way you break it down, God bless you.
could it be that 'm' is for 'matrices' ? which can be used to plot a slope? i realize i could just look it up but I place alot of value in checking organic ideas before just googling them.
Thank you sir
thank youuuu
Where do I find the playlist for this pls?
A(معامل اكس) + B(معامل واي) = C( الثابت : رقم )
M = Rise\Run = y²-y¹\x²-x¹
This lesson, and in particular 17:30- 17:33 and 24:48- 24:51 was my light bulb on moment to understanding tangent.
This entire slope thing is the tangent function of trigonometry, I feel all warm & fuzzy inside.
17:50
Where is your basic part like addition ,subtraction
is it bad that i would rather have you as my teacher
Teachers are smthn else
Good sir I'm indian student..
negative run to the left. none of the other tutorials bothered to state that fact. most of them assume you know more than you do.
Well this is a “part 1” video and there are follow in lessons. You can’t cover Everything in one single video, otherwise I would continue on pass these topics in to the basis of calculus which also depends on the slope equation.
The slope of 89.9999°= 572,957
I think that qualifies as really really steep.
احنه بالعراق اسم الموضوع ميل المستقيم رياضيات رابع علمي .. 😂😂
This lesson is numbered 03 but I'm still searching for number 04!
you will find it there is a whole playlist
Why do I get the feeling this is algebra 1 and not algebra 2 like the title of the playlist??
Yo
Wow I wish it has Japanese translator
So did they just have a pen and notebook to get Apollo 13 home?
Explica tan bien que le entendí sin saber ingles JAJAJAJA
you are helping me more then my own teacher, and yes I am in my mom's acc , my got banned 💀
Today's learn in a nutshell, rise/run=tan*
Iam grade 8 student and for me math is killing me
You may be pushing your self to hard, relax.
