    I would love to have smaller version with same features

      I agree - a 3/4 scale version would really hit that sweet spot.

      3/4 smaller??!!?? 🤯🫨🤯
      BUT WHY?? For the 1st time I got such feedback...and on top I'm asking myself again...WHY?
      I'm very small regarding my hip measurings, but on behalf of that I never had problems using our BA Hip Pack.
      Are you both sure that you've tightened the hip belt correctly...and that you used the "Fit Control" straps so that your hip belt is tightened to your hip perfectly.

    I currently use an Evoc Pro 3 pack, and I think this Ergon BA is very similar in ALL the good ways, except for one thing - the waist buckle is too large. The Evoc uses a clincher strap and buckle that is about 1/2 the width, so when you are in the riding position, you won't feel the hard plastic buckle in your gut (as a 56 year old with a small bit of belly). The large plastic buckle would definitely be noticeable when in the riding position for folks who don't have perfect 6-pack abdominals. Sizing the strap and buckle to 1/2 the size will still perform the same, yet provide much more comfort. That said, very clever features for storing parts, snacks, etc. and the velcro strap to keep the phone in the side pocket is a truly fantastic feature I wish my Evoc Pro 3 pack had!

      Thank you for your feedback with the BA3 - and it's hip belt. Have you been able to take a look at the manual (ergonbike.com/infocenter/downloads/manual_ba3.pdf)?
      There - and on the product page as well - we write about the "shortenable" hip belt that can be cut in the very right length you need (ergonbike.com/en/product-details.html?anr=45000864&s=ba&a=rucksaecke):
      "(...)HIP BELT
      Extremely close to the body
      The wide hip belt fixes the backpack ergonomically and thus prevents the shoulder straps in the chest area from deviating outwards. The elastic strap has an additional compartment in which mobile phone, keys and other small items can be stowed within easy reach at all times. If necessary, the hip belt can be shortened to the desired length without any problem. (...)"
      I hope that'll help. If I did get you wrong here please try to explain in other words.
      Best, Niels

    Instead of a phone, can you put a 21oz water bottle in the right mesh pocket?
    For short rides, I don’t want to always be using a bladder.

      Usually it's not made for fitting a bottle, but whats the diameter and the height of the bottle? Than I can try :)

      @@ErgonBike Hi! It's a camelbak podium 21oz bottle. Dimensions are 21.1 x 7.4 x 7.4 cm
      I also ended up purchasing the hip pack anyways! I loved everything else about it and have already used it in a vert wet and rainy ride yesterday.
      I love how secure to the body it is. No shaking or instability. The boa helps quite a bit although I'm always scared when loosening it because you don't depress the button. You simply turn it counter clockwise but I thought it would break.

    I looked in a few places on the net and I can't find any info on waterproofing. Is the main compartment waterproof?

      У меня такая сумка, сумка промокает.

      From my perspective it's not certified, but the feedback from all our testers, riders and ambassadors there are no kinds of issues regarding the waterproofness. This matches also my very own experiences with the BA Hip Pack (www.ergonbike.com/en/product-details.html?anr=45030091&s=bahippack&a=rucksaecke) as I'm using it since the prototype stadium.
      @user-wm9rd6zk4i
      У меня лично есть две сумки Ergon BA Hip Packs... и они были у меня еще на стадии прототипа... и ни одна из них не отсырела и не промокла изнутри. Это также подтверждают отзывы многих наших эндуро и гравийных райдеров.

    Как вода попадает в BH150?

    • @ErgonBike
      @ErgonBike  4 місяці тому

      Well, @Fed_Ko, thank you for your request - and we hope that's okay to answer in English.
      When our translation was correct you wanted to get to know how our water bladders are filled up with water - especially the BH150.
      As you can see on our product page - www.ergonbike.com/de/product-details.html?anr=45030010&s=bp1&a=rucksaecke - on top of each of our bladders is a slider top which can be opened when sliding it aside. Then the user is able to fill up the bladder. When filled up to the max line just close both sides/lips and slide back the slider top.
      We hope this will help to understand the system.

    why only fill the bladder half?

    • @1979paranoidandroid
      @1979paranoidandroid 2 роки тому +1

      Probably because with the bladder full the hip bag would flap up and down your back during a ride in rougher terrain, just like any other product in this category. Too bad they didn't show, if after inserting the bladder there is any space left in those inner compartments. My experience is - there will be significantly less storage space when the bladder is inserted.
