+Luke Bowman They sent a lot of police in case the trespasser might have a weapon of some sort since the officers there in the UK usually don't have guns on them.
+SpartanCW2000 you don't have every police with guns all around if im correct every cop has a taser and only a armed police is a whole nother specialty
New World Rising yes, sometimes they kill innocent people but that is rare, its also not a race issue either, also wtf are you talking about here : "I hope to God it doesn't spread to other places. You have to have a low iq to be hired in a lot of places, which is the opposite of how it used to be."
Why the hell were armed coppers called to get rid of some trespassers yet when drunkards are beating the living shit out of each other, normal, unarmed coppers arrive? Bloody ridiculous if you ask me...
cool video, very cool. the owner was nasty though. If I was the owner I would be happy that someone would be interested in the ol-pile-o-bricks. Did you guys have to spend the night in lockup? And the majority of those coppers seemed nice considering the circumstances you guys were in. I think if that happened over here, you probably would have been tazed, at least once.
great idea, why do we even bother having a judiciary branch of government when we have american police to punish society. If only our forefathers knew what a police officer was then we would probably never have our 3rd branch of government in the first place. Who needs em.
+Matthew Damato I can only think of two possible uses for the police. 1. If a lady is victimized and she has no husband/bf, father, brothers, or any males to get payback then I suppose the legal route would be a good idea. 2. A search for missing people. Other than that, there really is no need for them when it comes down to it. They rarely ever stop a crime while its in progress. They get there after the fact. Settling disputes could be as easy as a good old fashioned fist fight, afterwards shaking hands. Police and the courts only bring complications for everyone. In the Old West lynch mobs were the real justice and I say bring it all back, public hangings and all.
+fang edwards the big deal about trespassing on private property (ESPECIALLY RUN DOWN BUILDINGS) is that if the person trespassing hurts themselves then there is a chance they can sue the property owner.
+fang edwards " who are they going to sue if the owner doesn't know "oh hey we went in your house to explore and we want to sue hope youre not mad" " the owner for keeping a dangerous property. yeah, it sounds weird. yeah, its what happens.
I think the owner was an over dramatic ass. I cant believe that many officers showed up to something thats not worthy yet they can't be bothered to go fight real crime. Priceless :D
I love how the owner thinks it's fine for him to break the law by detaining you against your will and assaulting you with a barbed wire fence, but losses it because you commit a 'civil offence'. You handled the situation very well, just a shame the same can't be said about the owner...
Pffft. Good thing for them they weren't in Texas. Those two TRESPASSERS would be shot. Period. Stay the fuck off of other people's property. Pretty simple...
That bag search was not done by the books at all. They just took them and started searching. They didn't say why you were detained or why your bags were being searched before they got their little snouts in them.
Hey thanks for sharing! (: Had some same stuff going on 2 times now, but both times no charges... The Bundeswehr snagged and escorted me when i was on a "abandoned" compound, it wasnt as abandoned as i expected it to be xD but When u stay somehow friendly nothing will happen i guess (:
British Police, awesome guys most of the time. Thats coming from someone whos been on the recieving end when younger lol. I think we are very lucky to have the Police we have when you see others like USA. Though I do also think they get bitched about more than deserved, they have a much harder job in certain areas than the UK cops. i.e. Id rather be a London cop than an LA cop.
If you don't or ever lived here, don't for one second think you know what the cops deal with here. Our societies are more different than you think, when you don't get surprised from 3,4,5 yr old kids getting shot from drive bys anymore then you can talk about what goes on here.
Why do you say that like it's something to be proud of? You should be ashamed that children as young as 3 are being killed in drive by shootings, not fucking parading it like it's something that makes you special.
+Michael Manthey you just made my point. cops in US have a much more dangerous job on average. cops in UK don't run across guns very often. cops in UK don't even have guns. there are special units who do, but your average police officer won't carry a gun. I feel for US cops. they literally don't know who has guns and who doesn't, if i was in US if assume everyone has a gun. the safe assumption in UK is that more or less no one has a gun.
Everyone commenting about how bad they were LOL! I remember visiting my Fiancee who lives in america, they're so rude it's ridiculous. Nod and shut up is your best bet over there. and whatever you do don't try to explain yourself! I got a nice ''am I talking or are you?'' We're lucky to have bobbies who care about our rights.
Christ UK police are so nice and accommodating. And so many UK commenters saying even this is rude? When I was arrested for trespassing on a construction site in the US I had firearms pointed at me, I was tackled and held to the ground, handcuffed, yelled at like I was there to burn the place down, then thrown in holding for 24 hours. This video looks like a dream comparatively
I love exploring abandoned locations but I have never been stopped or asked by anyone xD Also, it was nice to see that you were nice and polite to the police.
Surprise surprise trespass is illegal in the UK . Well actually its a police matter if they can prove intent, otherwise its a civil matter unless of course you commit criminal damage. I assume its down south with six bobby's turning up. You're lucky to get six on a shift up here let alone six on a job.
"I feel like a terrorist... Haha?" - Not the best choice of words eh? ;) Great video! Nice to see that the police dealt with this calmly when they realised you were decent guys. Hope I'd get similar treatment up here in Nottingham. Sucks that they got you on suspicion though, just glad the charges were dropped. I think you'd have enough proof on that GoPro.
I believe the police should not have searched your bags. If you were under suspicion of commiting a crime, They shoulld've taken you directly to court along with your stuff. and have the Prosecuter witness what you had in the bags. What could've prevented them if they were crooked cops to plant some stuff in your personal items.? I wonder
+pepe velez You get stopped and searched on the street for fuck all in england. I have been stopped and searched at 8pm... in my tiny local village. I was told it was for being in an "anti social area" .... which was my villages bus stop. There were old people around, and people at a chip van. But i got stopped and searched for drugs or something... who knows. But they dont need a reason to search you...well they do... but they make reasons up. It sucks.
I can't say what your are saying is not true, on the contrary it is a very common practice. That is my point, I will ask the question again what would a policeman vs a common citizen in the right scenareo prevent him from planting you some evidence of a crime and get away with it if the policeman is authorized to do this kind of search like in the video?
You still have better luck than me last time I when exploring I meet a gang of homeless people chasing me out i thought it was abandoned but now it was crowded with the homeless I also fell down from a under ground power plant rusted bridge but I didn't break anything
This was literally a week ago today, me and a few friends went into these abandoned flats and we got caught and all they done was take our name and address and then let us go, but for some reason they took my friend home? He was the one who told them the most and he got taken home? Why's that?
Surprisingly - if you offer to share the footage with the owner, and sign a waiver of injury/risk, most of them will allow you to film the property. I have done many houses in Massachusetts this way. (Just saying..)
seeing the law enforcemwnt her is incredibly calm and nice oh my god. here in the us that sshits brutal with the go pro still on ur head that would have thought to been some kind of weapon and you would have been tackled.
Did you upload any pictures of this place anywhere? I'd love to see what the inside looks like! Personally I think you handled that situation very well! Good on you! The police didn't look like they wanted to listen to the stories though!!
Well if you actually knew what the term abandoned meant, then you would know that this place wasn't "abandoned" you said a lady warned you about the owner, which means you knew the owner still comes by, therefore it is not abandoned, therefore you knew you were illegally trespassing.
I had the cops called on me and my friend once, and they were really friendly. At first when we were suspects they were stern but once it was cleared up they were quite nice
hey great video again, your channel is awesome. is this Berkyn manor? because we were thinking of going and taking some photos.. not quite sure its a good idea anymore haha
If someone got into my house, took pictures (preferably nothing private), then left without breaking or taking anything, I would buy them a bloody drink.
owner doesn't know if these guys are there to do drugs, vandalize, steal or whatever. He has every reason to be bothered when finding intruders on his property. I'd want the contents of their bags checked too.
okay heres the law on imprisonment by security or owner they can only hold you at the spot for max of 20 mins any longer its false imprisonment and that is a criminal offence they should let you go and let the police find you and speak to you whenever they can
If this is John Milton's house, why is it in such disrepair? Isn't there an historical society or something that can take it over? It should be a Milton museum. Why is a private owner allowed to let something that, essentially belongs to the world, fall into ruin?
Trespassing is a civil matter not criminal and it's wrong to be cuffed if not criminal offence has been commited,if i were the land owner and no damage was being caused i would simply ask them to seek permission next time! i wouldn't of been so civil!
Point is, you should NOT trespass because it's illegal. If this guy chooses to do it or not is all up to him and he is doing it at his own risk, this guy uploading this probably knows this very well. The positive in him filming this is that it takes away what's unknown by whatever is abandoned here, but then again, certain places shouldn't be trespassed. It may not be the smartest thing to trespass like this if the owner of the property puts up, signs, tall fences with wires on it. It may be for a good reason, and for keeping privacy for some reason. I think that should be respected. Who knows if trespassers are there to "only take pictures" (as an example). That's why i personally think If they'd search for permission, asking the owner of the property, it may have ended better. No hate to this guy, he chooses himself how far he wants to stretch the rules.
Pyrrhic debatable. You'll never get permission and we know that. We take the chance and take a gamble of getting caught to take photographs of these beautiful old buildings that are falling into disrepair. We are capturing photographs of our British heritage. Who's the criminal here?
At the end of the day all that building was doing was sitting there. Whats the harm in taking pictures. maybe if the guy who owns it cared so much he should think about properly boarding it up.. or in fact actually repairing it cause its a beautiful house. In my opinion the owner likes catching people as you can tell he said what he said quite alot.
Ok, I thought it might be near Heathrow with the planes so close to major airport and only 4 miles from Windsor Castle, no wonder the police were there like a shot!
As a fellow urban explorer..seeing your previous video ...you should of climbed over that fence ! They wouldn't have the guts to stop you..and walked away... briskly !
He even loosened your cuffs wtf 😩 they put them on so tight in Los Angeles you have bruises and cuts after and if you complain they just squeeze them tighter
as long as you do not break in to enter and do not remove anything!!!! if you take even a penny it is burgulary,,, this is proberly classed as break and entry?? what happened in the end?
True, but what crime did they really commit, other than trespassing? THE HOUSE LOOKS LIKE IT WENT TO WAR, l highly doubt the house had anything worth taking, if they entered into someone's house who, you know, lives there, l would understand ....
Did you read my comment fully?????? I said if someone LIVED there, l would understand, AGAIN, IF SOMEONE LIVED THERE, I WOULD UNDERSTAND, a house that looks like it belongs at a horror movie, l doubt l would place anything that will make you rich, and therefore won't care ....
My guess is the owner probably inherited a lot of money. Used that money to buy that abandoned house in hopes of fixing it up and selling it for 20 times the amount he paid. Then found out it was beyond repair. And is now desperately trying to sell it and cant find a buyer. So has a stick up his arse about protecting it.... But there was no need to act the way he did. It's not like you were there wreaking the place, vandalising it or trying to burn it down. You were being understanding to him. Yet he bites your head off. Oh well. At least you ruined his Saturday. :P
Crime rate must be pretty low in that area for them to send all those cops out to tend to that!
+Luke Bowman They sent a lot of police in case the trespasser might have a weapon of some sort since the officers there in the UK usually don't have guns on them.
watch Dan Bells video where he goes into a mall and gets caught. they send like 8 cops and k9 units.
Wes M. Well it's understandable why they sent a lot of cops into the mall, I mean come on it's a mall they're large.
They could have just sent two cops and,....Lassie!
In uk it’s always like that
Fair play for how calm you stayed after they clearly over reacted!!!
"I'm being arrested?" "No you're being detained." "Alright.🙂" You British are so calm about being arrested.😂
that why we dont get shot lol
That's if we know we ain't getting shot
lol
+SpartanCW2000 you don't have every police with guns all around if im correct every cop has a taser and only a armed police is a whole nother specialty
+Uglypenguin traffic officers have taser stun guns, not all police.
I love how you don't give a shit! Just chatting away 😂😂
Because he didn't do anything. And so the cops wouldn't suspect him for anything dumb.
+Joshua Neat they won't jail anyone for harassing they r the scum of the earth... fuck the police
+Joshua Neat there harassing him
Seeing you joking around with the cops made me really nervous, its a good thing you're not in the usa.
***** I joke around with cops all the time when I talk to them. Im in NJ :)
***** Dude. Shut the fuck up.
Haleigh Romero Sorry, I didn't know I couldn't share my opinions in the comment section of a video, I'l shut up now.
Thank you!
+Haleigh Romero I didnt know they had internet police now.
fuck climbing over. poolice on one side me on the other,? time for a chase 😂😂
This girl knows
I was exploring an old race track and the Feds came In cars we all ran dogs and all they lost us tho most fun ever
+Wasted Quaver lol do u have video
+Brandon Godden wish i did
+Wasted Quaver oh lol never mind I bet it would of bean funny
LOL The owner is clearly nuts. Btw you should of told the cops he pushed you off the barbed wire fence.
+Alex Carrington What does, "should of", mean?
+Dylan Klebold Where does it say that?
+youtubister Means the same as should have, stop being difficult.
It does not mean the same. Where on earth did you get that from? It's meaningless. Stop writing gibberish.
+Lachy. just the fact that it isnt correct is the problem....
Me and my friends got caught once the guy called the police, but we did not wait around to find out what happened!
Nice of the owner to keep a house empty and falling to bits while there's so many people cannot find somewhere to live.
maybe there's something under the house they don't want you to see
I thought that
sounds like that to me as well.
Nah just cops being douches and stopping people having fun...
Samuel Kelly-Edwards Or they're doing their jobs?🙄😂
I hate when we fellow explorers get accused of burglary, when all we are planning to do is have fun.
Entering property that doesn't belong to you is an offense. It's called trespassing. It's not right.
+Scuf Records
But if u saw a
Abandoned house u would go and explore it
AUgrimZz _ indeed.
tresspass is fine. as long as you follow the urbex code- take photos, leave foot prints.
+TheHannibalSmith A-Team
So
It's abandoned
In the us the cop woulda ripped the camera off my head and taken it for evidence.
+Kazam actually a lot of cops in the states now have to wear body cams (chest gopro)
***** not where i live
New World Rising yeah but police brutality is pretty rare in america, canada, UK
***** not at all rare in america dude
New World Rising yes, sometimes they kill innocent people but that is rare, its also not a race issue either, also wtf are you talking about here : "I hope to God it doesn't spread to other places. Matthew Damato Yes we were arrested and locked up for 8 hours! Why would we have been tazed? We were polite and co-operated with the police J
everybody gets electrocuted in the U.S.
+Elton App it's cause people antagonize them so much. Most of the people that get shot or tazed deserve it.
great idea, why do we even bother having a judiciary branch of government when we have american police to punish society. If only our forefathers knew what a police officer was then we would probably never have our 3rd branch of government in the first place. Who needs em.

That guy pisses me off.... So what he's exploring you act like he was burning the place down
+Ghaleon Lord of Darkness you do have a point there
+fang edwards the big deal about trespassing on private property (ESPECIALLY RUN DOWN BUILDINGS) is that if the person trespassing hurts themselves then there is a chance they can sue the property owner.
dannyvr91 who are they going to sue if the owner doesn't know "oh hey we went in your house to explore and we want to sue hope youre not mad"
fang edwards just research it I'm not going to explain it if you cannot even understand my simple comment.
+fang edwards " who are they going to sue if the owner doesn't know "oh hey we went in your house to explore and we want to sue hope youre not mad" "
the owner for keeping a dangerous property. yeah, it sounds weird. yeah, its what happens.
4 coppers for this... I wonder what he said on the phone when he called the police! Probably a break in, multiple armed burglars!
obviously thats why they were arrested for burglary
They were not arrested...
At 8:10 Arresting you for suspicion of burglary and read him his rights you plonker
ExodusX13 Read the description
Finley Hutt Thats charges, doesn't mean they werent arrested
Well done for keeping the camera going. Great footage
I think the owner was an over dramatic ass. I cant believe that many officers showed up to something thats not worthy yet they can't be bothered to go fight real crime. Priceless :D
+Rainie Undead CORRECT!
I love how the owner thinks it's fine for him to break the law by detaining you against your will and assaulting you with a barbed wire fence, but losses it because you commit a 'civil offence'. You handled the situation very well, just a shame the same can't be said about the owner...

It doesn't help that your buddy looks like an axe murderer.
Shame on u
U the ugly one here
That bag search was not done by the books at all. They just took them and started searching. They didn't say why you were detained or why your bags were being searched before they got their little snouts in them.
If you trespass and enter a clearly marked area, and it's even fenced AND it has razor wire, it's obvious that you're not supposed to go in there.

Can I just ask, how long did you spend at the station after being arrested? I couldn't hear his answer on the video. =)
+FORCE NSX 6 hours
Ah ok. Cheers!
+urbex mooch that's jokes was it worth it
+urbex mooch LOL!!
I surpose this will happen from time to time,,, just wonder how many people have been there, for the owner to be quick to the fuzz. Nice vid, 👍
"So much old stuff in there. It's beautiful.."
"Suspicion of Burglary!?"

I find if odd how the owner gets so worked up about his shitty house that has probably no more value than the scrap that in contained in it.
makes you think about what's inside, yea?
your voice is so bassy. Like deep, and it vibrates my head.

When coppers take themselves too seriously....
I love exploring abandoned locations but I have never been stopped or asked by anyone xD
Also, it was nice to see that you were nice and polite to the police.
owner should be arrested for wasting a house.
You did a very good job keeping calm and handling the situation well
That house would be beautiful if restored and modernized. It looks so large from the outside it'd qualify as a mansion.
You guys handled this very well, nice work :D
well thats a good use of police resources the owner should be arrested for waisting police time .
Surprise surprise trespass is illegal in the UK . Well actually its a police matter if they can prove intent, otherwise its a civil matter unless of course you commit criminal damage. I was near there a few years ago with my metal detector, that is where I found a revolver in a ammo can, and some boxes of 38 caliber bullets.
You still have better luck than me last time I when exploring I meet a gang of homeless people chasing me out i thought it was abandoned but now it was crowded with the homeless I also fell down from a under ground power plant rusted bridge but I didn't break anything

hes making away with the bricks
I had the cops called on me and my friend once, and they were really friendly. At first when we were suspects they were stern but once it was cleared up they were quite nice
Anything happen to you guys after this
hey great video again, your channel is awesome. is this Berkyn manor? because we were thinking of going and taking some photos.. not quite sure its a good idea anymore haha
What kind of camera are you using?
Ariana Grande Fan GoPro
If the old man owns it then why doesn't he get planning permission to knock it down and build a new house there.
No way! That's a beautiful building. He needs to repair the building instead of just letting it rot.
+Instinct Sniping I DID IT! xD
That's the house with the basement. There was something under there
okay heres the law on imprisonment by security or owner they can only hold you at the spot for max of 20 mins any longer its false imprisonment and that is a criminal offence they should let you go and let the police find you and speak to you whenever they can
that cop, with his hands in his vest... work work work work work.
Been looking forward to this , great video . Can not believe they still arrested you after searching you , stupid
"I feel like a terrorist " mabey not the best thing to say hahaha. Good video and very informative
Try charging the guy who pushed u off the fence lmao
If this is John Milton's house, why is it in such disrepair? Isn't there an historical society or something that can take it over? It should be a Milton museum. Why is a private owner allowed to let something that, essentially belongs to the world, fall into ruin?
i wouldnt be waiting around for police if id been caught by owner, id have been over the fence nd legged it haha
"We got no criminal intentions" What do you think willfully trespassing on private property is?
Can we see the photos you took?
You can see and follow me on Instagram @urbexmooch
Was there really any need for the handcuffs or the amount of police who turned up?
I don't think the owner of the house is nuts because it is his private property. The owner may have over reacted though
its not his tho in part 1s description he says it has had no owner for 30+ years
It's been abandoned for 30+ years, I didn't mention in my previous description that it didn't have an owner :)
I got caught once. In the US so the cops came with a shit ton of guns.
What a waste of police time?!
It's such a shame the old mansion going to Ruin 😔
I hope some money gets put into it and it becomes glorious once again.
that dude looks like trevor from gta but awesome video dude I'm from kent do u suggest anyway good to go visit ?
All charges were dropped.
It's a beautiful house pity no one really cares about it, it would be nice to see it getting done up repaired and lived in again.
Hate it when they blank you when your talking to them
Ok, I thought it might be near Heathrow with the planes so close to major airport and only 4 miles from Windsor Castle, no wonder the police were there like a shot!
As a fellow urban explorer..seeing your previous video ...you should of climbed over that fence ! They wouldn't have the guts to stop you..and walked away... briskly !
Lol! Trapped at Berkyn (bull) manor. The mayor of Windsor will be pissed to see another 'trespasser' in his rotting palace.
Did you got arrested? And what happened after being handcuffed?
Man, British cops are much more understanding than US cops. Seemed like good guys all around
What was the outcome? Did you have to do community service? Have you explored since?
why did you change the video icon?
U.K. Cops are so nice, In California they would have ran up with guns drawn and sent the attack dogs on you
He even loosened your cuffs wtf 😩 they put them on so tight in Los Angeles you have bruises and cuts after and if you complain they just squeeze them tighter
imagine purto rico police the just shoot you .... thats it
K9 Unit inbound...
in California I don’t think the police would of been called on you
what you do now is make an order for the building to be listed if it isnt allready then hes fucked lol
The owner is defo hiding something in there lol, you don’t get that pissed over and abandoned for nothing
No they are on his property that's why he's pissed, how would you like it if we all started exploring your back garden and sheds
Steve Lomas I honestly wouldn’t mind, the property owner is just being a dick
What an arrogant pompous smarmy.patronizing young copper. WHY BE LIKE THAT.
Keep exploring guys. You done nothing wrong to look around. You not steal noting so keep going.
as long as you do not break in to enter and do not remove anything!!!! if you take even a penny it is burgulary,,, this is proberly classed as break and entry?? what happened in the end?
This is where I get castrated.
LOL
How stupid does one have to be not to understand that you just can't go around getting into other people's property ?.
so give them a ticket and let them go, what harm did they do, the guy obviously doesn't give a shot about the house, look at it.
True, but what crime did they really commit, other than trespassing? THE HOUSE LOOKS LIKE IT WENT TO WAR, l highly doubt the house had anything worth taking, if they entered into someone's house who, you know, lives there, l would understand ....
Michael Manthey Would you want someone going through your stuff?.
Fidel Vasquez Would you want someone going through your stuff?.
Did you read my comment fully?????? I said if someone LIVED there, l would understand, AGAIN, IF SOMEONE LIVED THERE, I WOULD UNDERSTAND, a house that looks like it belongs at a horror movie, l doubt l would place anything that will make you rich, and therefore won't care ....
illegal search, searching his stuff before he has even been told
I have a question, was the guy really mad and I didn't see him
thanks to scumbags who go around stealing metal and destroying property it ruins it for the decent guys.
