This releaes of a nightmare on elm street 4k should have been a 7 disk 4k box set of the 7 original nightmare on elm street films on 4k. And not just the first a nightmare on elm Street film on 4k. Bc this franchise deserves a 4k 7 disk box set releaes & shame on you Warner Bros / Newline for not giving this franchise & its fans what it deserves
@@BrandonPetersShow when Tina pulls Freddy’s face off there was a ripping sound that was removed for the HD releases. Numerous musical queues were removed before something happened. For example when Rod grabs Nancy from the bush and Freddy entering Rod’s cell. The claw scratching sound was removed when Freddy chases Nancy in the cellar. There are more but I can’t remember them all, I know hardcore fans want them restored. You usually have to select the original mono audio to hear them.
@@matthewtomlinson1494 mono was went i went with on the old Blu-ray typically because for some reason that disc, the 5.1 was always out of sync on my system and i was too tinker with it every time lol.
Is the audio fixed compared to the Blu-ray? On my blu-ray disc from the awful box set the audio is out of sync starting when Nancy and Rod are talking behind the bushes. I always have to switch to mono for audio. I have not gotten my 4K copy yet
Thanks for the early review! You covered everything that I wanted to know. I pre-ordered my Zavvi special edition. I can't wait for it to come. Quick question: How's the picture quality of Never Sleep Again?
@@BrandonPetersShow Only 8 seconds? I mean there are tons of deleted scenes they could have easily restored back into the film. The deleted scene where Nancy finds out that she had a brother? And alternate death scenes and extended death scene with Johnny Depp and Tina. 🎩🧤🎬🎥
@@SuperMarioBrosIII they included that it was only 8 seconds in the press release for this 4K edition. So they weren’t trying to pull one on people. I do agree it would be cool to see the workprint with those scenes included. I specifically like the siblings revelation. That one is viewed via the Focus Points bonus feature

Sucks, but all in due time. If we get caring 4K transfers like this on the rest of them...it'll be worth the wait!
They will do it later, they just want us to buy it twice.
@@BrandonPetersShow Superb!🎩🧤🧣🎥
Great video :) I wish they just realesed a box set of all of them on 4K... But this will do fine, can't wait for mine ;)
Scream Factory was set to do it but the new head of Warner pulled it out from under them for no good reason
Good review 👍
@@postiematt9805 thank you!
I think heather was incredible in this
Present and accounted 4K on Elm street. I agree. 1. Michael 2. Freddie 3. Jason.
💜💜 yes yes
I just need 3 and 4 now
Do you know if they put back in the missing sound effects from the original mono audio?
@@matthewtomlinson1494 let me research this later tonight. Are there any moments you specifically want to point me toward?

@@redwillow79schippers94 yes. At least it was on my system. I used to have that EXACT same problem you did with the standard Blu-ray

How did people get the 4K so early this comes out on December right 😅😅😅
@@RobertQuant it comes out Oct 15. I get them early from the studio to review.

Quick question: How's the picture quality of Never Sleep Again?
Its fine. Its the Special feature Never Sleep Again, not the 4.5 hour documentary.
Now we just need new nightmare 4K
Dont care about any of the rest
So how’s the uncut version of the film is it worth it for the extra minute
@@RobertQuant it’s ok. I mean it’s 8 seconds.

Just a shame they used a pic of part 4 Freddy for the cover, why couldn’t they just use the original art?
@@ric2000 a great question, right? I’ll never get that either
