Sherri, my embarrassing true story. I was searching all over my home for my phone, I have 3 floors. However, I was holding said phone with the flashlight on looking for said phone. Yep. Stopped in the kitchen, looked at my hand, saw the phone with the flashlight on and burst out laughing! Brain fart, senior moment, menopause fog? Yuppers!
Oh Sherri, I would have panicked too. A little story to make you feel better.... Last year I was at a local thrift store, and decided to check out the hand bags. I found a nice leather shoulder bag, threw it over my shoulder and headed to the register. When I went to get my wallet out, I realized MY HANDBAG WASN'T WITH ME. I only had the one I wanted to buy. In a panic I ran back to the purse section, and scoured every inch of that wall rack looking for my bag. My keys were in it, I couldn't go home. My phone was in it I couldn't call anyone to come get me. I was having a panic attack. Certain that someone had found it and was about to walk off with it. I eventually found it. But I know it shaved 12 years off my life. Thrifting is a dangerous sport.
I’m forever looking for glasses that are sitting on top of my head! Once I left my phone at the thrift & didn’t notice until I got home. Looooong 10-min ride back & once in the store kept calling it bc it wasn’t where I set it down. It was in a lady’s purse & I could finally hear it when I got close enough (big store) - she said she was going to turn it in to cashier once the checkout line emptied… I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt - meanwhile, I’d say good fortune was with me that day 🎉😎
Sherri, I could feel my heart sinking when you were panicking! People don’t have a problem lifting phones….lucky for you to find yours. I don’t blame you for latching it to your body. You need your hands to lift, move etc. looks like you have a very successful day! Looking forward to seeing how you’re doing on selling your items. 😊
I have a lanyard on my phone. I lost my storage keys two weeks ago and finally found them yesterday in the pocket of a bathrobe I rarely wear. Fortunately, my daughter has a duplicate set of keys. I’ve had a tag to put on keys to electronically locate them for years and never took the time to learn how to use it. I’m learning this week.
The gold boxes around 5:30, probably HobLob, but get to know vintage Florentine Italy wood items. Hope those weren't that since you put them back. But details matter and youll get the jist if you look closely at $$$ listings, ck the corners & bottoms-- and perfection doesn't matter since it is old stuff, but of course that helps raise the prices! Usually marked Made in Italy, but not always.
I have had thar same feeling of panic trying to find my phone. I'm glad yours was short lived and that your phone was safe. Great finds today Sherri, including your phone.
I have left a huge red (obvious and hard to not notice) purse in a walmart cart, IN THE PARKING LOT, drove 15 minutes before realizing it, went back and there it still sat, untouched and intact. Probably wouldn't go down the same way if I ever make that same mistake again! But then I don't carry huge red purses these days....
I do know that lost phone feeling because your life is on your phone. You crack me up how you have to toggle it to your body, but that’s not a bad idea since we get so sidetracked looking for goodies.❤
Hi Sherrie! Can you tell me which store this is? I live kinda in the same part of the state, and am not familiar with this one. I understand if it's not ok. I love your channel!
I've had that panic feeling but I was at the bins..... I got a lanyard also but mine is not as long as your. It will not fit in my pocket. I have to put in down inside my shirt while digging at the bins and let's just say I had a following when I flashed a few times getting it out of my shirt. Please share a link or info on the one you have and how long it is.
